I don't think I really have a band nickname. crying But one of my friends is called Shadow because she was a shadow all year long this past year. And another of my friends is called Cricket because two years ago a cricket jumped in her ear while she was marching on the field at halftime ( eek I have no idea how) and they had to get the paramedics to come get it out. xd

Moses, Scapegoat, Drum God, 3 Wise Men/Doctors of Groove, Godzilla, and Cheeseburger.
Moses: That's me. I was warped the most through the year, and everybody who's slept with me on the Band Bus knows that I'm a perverted fr33k. Well, on our way down to our Band Trip, we watched Meet the Fockers. Remember the little dog that humps everything that moves? Yeah, that's Moses.
Scapegoat: I came up with this name. A Scapegoat is someone who takes the fall when there's a problem. There's this one trumpet player in my grade who has a hand in almost everything that goes wrong. After a while, I just started calling him the Band Scapegoat, and jokingly blamed him for everything. It stuck.
Drum God: There's a timpani player who can do one-handed diddles at 255 beats a minute. 'nuff said.
3 Wise Men/Doctors of Groove: The three most incredible players in the school just happen to be the three closest friends. They started a trio they aptly named the Three Wise Men, and they rock out almost every day after school.
The Doctors of Groove comes from the fact that they conveniently consist of a Tenor Sax player, a Trumpeter, and a Drummer, and they specialize in jazz music. They can groove an improv solo using one note. It's like some celestial being put them together to revolutionize Jazz someday.
Godzilla: This idiot savant* in the pit completely fails at life. He insults people who are trying to compliment him. One day, in response to a compliment, he let out a horrible, ugly growl that sounded like something Godzilla would make. The name stuck. (*He's an idiot savant because he can hear Perfect Pitch. He's the only one in the music department that can hear a perfect note and tell you if you're in or out of tune without an electronic tuner. When we found this out, the Doctors of Groove swore they'd give up music.)
Cheeseburger: I'm not exactly sure how this one started, because the name originated before I was in the Band. All I can tell you is that I didn't know his name until the last football game, when they called the Seniors to the feild. When they called him out, I seriously said "Who's Kevin? Wait, Cheeseburger has a name?" Because I never heard his real name, it never crossed my mind that he had one. It didn't help that he was standing next to me when I made the comment.

my band nickname is Turbo Mouse because the percussion section was playing a song called Turbo Mouse one year and everyone knew that i was the crazy one so the band director was joking around with me and said, "hey, why don't you make up a dance for Turbo Mouse." well, needless to say i did. now everyone calls me Turbo Mouse.

Fredenator The Iguana
yeah thats me. Fredendall is the last name.. hence Fred (also a nickname of mine)... the Iguana part? I stuck out my tongue and a friend of mine and he said I looked like an Iguana. The name was a combination of a few guys in my Trumpet section making it up for me. We made section shirts and that was my nickname on the back. rofl

I got Piccolo and LISA THE MIGHTY MIGHTY TUBA. It's always in caps, no matter what.
Piccolo: not the instrument. I had a cheap tuba that would turn my thumb green if I played for too long and a friend of mine was obsessed with the cucumber song, so she named me after the green dude from dbz.
LISA THE MIGHTY MIGHTY TUBA: My name's Lisa, so that where that came from. I was the only tuba in band that first year I played, and I had to match the volume of the trumpets, saxes, and clarinets by myself and somehow managed it, so that's the mighty part. It's always caps because no one ever says it. They scream it...
