I still say manga because graphis doesn't always tell you everything in the anime.

manga definately has more in it than the anime. manga doesnt follow a precise story line the whole time and it has other things going on within the story (like in Fruits Basket, they have the Cinderella Play and stuff not in the anime). thats why i prefer manga over anime. but anime is good cause then u can hear the characters voice =D

In most cases I would say that the manga is more detailed than anime if not only in graphics, but in the story plotline. In the example of Naruto, the art in the anime is not nearly as detailed, but much more enjoyable to watch. In the case of One Piece, the anime art is much more detailed and even has side episodes that include scenes in the manga you never see played out in episode form. It usually depends on the series and the author to determine what will happen where. mrgreen

Hm...in my opinion, manga is more detailed, and the story plots are expanded more than the anime mostly. However, I like watching the anime also, mostly cause of seeing colors and actual movements. But yeah, manga all the way. A good example would be Rurouni Kenshin 3nodding

I buy manga more because it is much cheaper than anime. $45.oo for a Kannazuki no Miko DVD? sweatdrop Manga, I believe is much more detailed than anime. However, this does vary between different series. Such as the manga series Negima! and the adaptation Negima!? is a little more detailed in some areas. The pictures are not moving, and the detail and precision allow the art to be more effective when needed. Also, a manga isn't exactly budgeted like an anime is, so the detail can go to extremes if needed. In a plot perspective, this can really be crazy. There is the fact that the Naruto anime, like many other anime, went through a lot of filler episodes. Sometimes the anime needs to wait until another manga volume comes out, if needed, and will create new episodes so it can carry on. Why they do not just stop making episodes until they have the right information, I do not know. neutral Manga usually have a story to stick to, and the creator(s) will keep to that story.

Manga is good for those who like to read and take their time usually is more detailed. However, anime is good for fast action scenes and is animated with voice actors..though somethings it better if you can imagine it.

I say manga because most (and I said MOST) of the anime out there is based on a manga and they never get it quite right. The old Hellsing series was completely off the wall, but the new OVA is quite faithful. Those Who Hunt Elves was an amazing manga but the anime dipped in and out of original storyline (I have only seen the first ten episodes and from what I have seen, it does). But anime is bright and vibrant and on occasion, great. That's one thing that manga will never have. There is a major difference between reading action and seeing action.

that's what I'd say anime seems to be less detailed just because they have to draw their characters moving if you look at a manga book, it's obviously more detailed I guess that's the reason I like anime less It just seems more... boring?

i pick both anime and manga 3nodding mainly because both have something better than the other. mangas are more detailed while anime can be enjoyed with its graphics. both are great. besides its too hard for me to decide which i like best sweatdrop

Dream kokoro AnGeL Give me your suggestions. Let's talk about it here.
Anime has more fillers. Manga can be more right into the story. One example this is Naruto. Youtube helped a lot of anime fans to watch free anime right at your pc. But without it anime dvd's could be really expensive plus majority only has 3 episodes inside it. What about manga? its preice is pretty reasonable and that its more portable. exactly. 3nodding
