The rather cuasual conversation was abruptly interupted as a burst of machine-gun fire arched into the sky above the Rehk; followed by a transmition from the shots' source; a lone Mono-Sono KLF. "Attenion undentified aircraft and LFO units! You are not transmitting a acceptable ID signal and are not cleared to fly in this airspace. In the name of the UF, you are ordered to land imediately! Failure to do so will result in me opening fire!" The soldier's face was young-evidently as green as grass to think a single KLF could defeat a whole ship and escort. However... No sooner than he had finished his demmanding transmition and opened the Mono-sono's missile racks, the Pilot opened another transmition. "Patroll unit 5 calling Longjinus! I've got several unidefied LFo's and airship flying uncleared; possibly smugglers or a Rebel fraction...Requesting backup!" The pilot blurted out before turning back to the main viewport, waiting to see what the trespassers would do. Oh, how his trigger finger itched!

In the cockpit of the KLF a response came back. A young female voice responded quickly.
"Unit 5, engage and detain. Backup is being prepped for interception."

"Roger, Lonjinus. Engaging LFO's..." The pilot said, nodding, both his eyes focusing on the ship and LFO units in front of him. Gripping the the controlls, he flicked the missile release switches. Almost instantly, the Mono-Sono bucked as all six rockets fired from the shoulder luanchers in a explosive volley of smoke and flame. Granted, the enemy hadn't replied, but Lonjinus had instucted him to "engage and detain", thus it was too bad the ship hadn't replied-he'd just aim to disable, perhaps.... Whilst the Soldier pondered this, his eyes followed the rocket barage, aimed mainly at the vanguard LFO's. Still no response, even as the rockets chased after their REFFing targets. either they were Greener than he was, or.... a cold finger traced the pilot's spine. Could it be that they were that good, that he hadn't needed to react yet?! Regardless, he'd halt them...

"Rue is this guy crazy?!" Nic yelled over the crashing of missles going off. "Any idea's on what we should do?" Just bearly missing getting hit. Everything she was thinking about had to dissapear. The only thing that was what was going to happen.

Missles started to hit around the knight, Rue jerking the controls to have his LFO avoid the missles that could have caused damage. Once temporarily out of harms way he hit the comm, first to the Rehk. "Captain! We have one enemy KLF, I'm going to distract it for now, send orders ASAP!" Rue sent the 867 into a verticle loop, coming topside at the height of the loop and heading towards the KLF. He switched the comm link over to Nic. "Nic are you okay? He's not crazy, just incredibly stupid. No, crazy is me engaging him and telling you to stay with the ship." He hoped she understood as he flew straight at the KLF. Who was this guy...

the KLF REFFed sideways in burst of greenish Trapar, moving perpendicular to the downward arching WhiteKnight; so that the attacking LFO would now strike a point behind the moving KLF. While doing this side-scuttle, the Mon-Sono raised it's machine gun and sprayed out a burst across the path of whiteknight as it descended; hopefully it would be struck and disabled. More importantly, there was still the ship, the other Vanguard LFO, and the one in front to worry about. The pilot blinked, trying to keep his eyes on the two Vanguard LFO's, specificaly the WhiteKnight model.

Kayako hovered Senturi over the Rehk and kept this new enemy in sight as much as posibble. She pulled up her board and ascended into the clouds above them and got ready, hoping that Nic and Rue could handle themselves. The rush of adrenaline went to her head and in the heat of the moment her mind went blank. She grabbed the controls and attacked without thinking.
While Rue and the enemy LFO engaged, Kayako took off towards them. Sentruri flew over the ship and went into position above the enemy LFO. As it approached overhead, Senturi's shoulders opened revealing it's embeded guns, and as soon as the Mono-Sono was in range Kayako sent out a flurry of gunfire on it, causing a burst of smoke to cover the area. Inside it, it would be impossible to see. She knew insinctively that the pilot would head for somewhere outside the cloud, most likely back to where it came from.
"Don't even think of getting away....."
She flew underneath the smoke screen and Senturi's radar picked up the LFO's signal overhead. Without warning she charged upwards into the edge of the thinning smoke and caught sight of it above her within minutes. Senturi fired at it again, aiming the barrage of bullets directly at the cockpit.

"No...!!" The LFO from the front had abruptly arched up and over him and attacked while he was distracted with the other. Worse, It was also equiped with ranged weapons-Unlike the Whiteknight model, this one could hit him withought needing to close by. The cockpit shook and sirens blared as gunfire rattled the KLF's torso and sent a spider's web of cracks across it's blue armor. The pilot cursed and wrestled with the controlls, struggling to stay upright on the reffboard as smoke eclisped his vision. ...This is bad....where is it....WHERE IS IT?! The pilot wondered frenziedly, nervously watching evey faint shadow or vuage shape in the smokescreen as he tried to recall his training on what to do when visual was lost. Checking his radar, he managed to guid the KLF up towards the edge of the smokecloud and re-gain his bearing of up and down.... Right as his Radar screamed at him. BREEEEEE!! the Pilot's shooked eyes shot down, looking in disbelief at the attacking LFO coming straight up at him. "AAAAAHH-!!!" The enemy LFO's shots struck home, despite the pilot's frantic jerking of the controlls for a last-second curve... The KLF's left arm was torn apart in a spray of red and armor fragments, and it's right shin was damaged moderatly. All this, coupled with the recoil/impact, as well as the fact that the LFO couldn't balance with a damaged leg led to it losing controll of it's REFFboard; plundging downwards in a crazed spiral as the Pilot wrested with the controlls. "No, no, NO! Pull UP, BLAST YOU-!!" "This is Unit 5! Mayday! I've lost controll of my ReffBo--KKKSSHHHTTT!!" Abruptly, the unstable transmition cut off to static as the ground got closer. Despite his best efforts, the KLF was still falling, but it was slowly leveling out. If he could just....!

((>< he responded before i could))
Rue shot a warning blast out of his arm cannon at Kayako. "Go back to the ship!" He shot the Knight down to chase the KLF. He went under it and lifted the board. The knight stayed to make sure it was stable before trying to leave.

Kayako sped off downward after the enemy KLF and Rue. She hovered over them quietly and two of Senturi's back armor plates opened. She opened her intercom up to Rue. Her voice seemed almost unreal over the static of the interference around them.
"You should know better.....if your going to retrieve an enemy, you have to disarm him first."
Senturi sped towards them again, of shot forward two grapling hooks on chains that were connected to it's back. The hooks aimed for the enemy KLF's remaining arm.
In the cockpit Kayako waited until she felt them connect, them pulled back on the controlls. The twin hooks spread to their full size inside their host, then abrubtly Senturi recoiled the chains, breaking through metal and intending to tear off the KLF's other arm.
Kayako didn't look up to see it it had worked. She felt the chains tighten and release. Something had ripped off.......
Suddenly her focus was broken by something, she wasn't sure what exactly. She felt confused, she didn't know what was happening. Then it hit her. The Rehk.....the KLF.......the gunfight. She remembered what she had just done.....
She felt a wave of dread go through her, and she slowly started to look up, afraid of what she might see.....

"AUGH-!!" There was sickening crack and the arm joint gave, the KLF's machine gun tumbling uselessly down to the earth, the arm and missile rack torn to metal shredds. Unfortunately, the pull also caused the KLF to fall sideways, and with no arms to steady itself, it twisted and stuggled, but ultimately fell off the board, the feet detaching with screeching, rending sound as the magnetic clamps failed.
Armless, the KLF plunged downwards and crashed into the ground, shattered and useless, and was rapidly eclipsed by dust. The pilot coughed, wiping blood from the corner of his mouth and trying to clear his blurry vision. The only thing that had saved him was the fact the the Mon-Sono was already low in the air when The Whiteknight stopped it, so it had only fallen about two stories. The monitors where shattered and the cockpit was partialy bent inwards, with light leaking through several fissures in the walls...If those LFO's pursued, he was finished!

On the edge of Radar several KLF's appeared. One by one they popped up. two then five, nine, ten total. They approached from directly in front of the Rehk's course.
A volley of long range missiles was release by two of them.
Over the airwaves a transmission was sent to the ship and it's envoy. "Unidentified ships. You are in violation of UF space. You are ordered to land immediately or we will be forced to shot you down. This is your only warning."

Nic had to time so wait for any other orders. She couldn't wait for Rue or Kayako. It was only her that had to hold the KLF's off. "The hero's always die!" Nic yelled while senidng the 909 full speed to the front of the Rehk. Aiming for the closest KLF Nic shot at it hoping to hit something. Hitting it in the arm and another in the leg. Still heading full speed Nic went really close to the KLF's and pulled to the right.

The Whiteknight was landed next to the KLF. Rue jumped out of the cockpit and tried to help the pilot who was inside. The dust was choking, but he fought his way through. Taking the cover off of the pilot he looked in. He heard Nic's words and wanted to go to her aid, but this pilot may be already dead.

Pulling up Nic shot again this time for the KLF's near the back. The Charing straight down at the KLF's in the center opening fire on aything close enough. Once getting level wit the rest of the KLF's Nic stabbed the first KLF to charge and threw it at the next. 'where the heck could they be?' Then Nic felt herself get hit by something. A KLF had jumped on her back, and was trying to hold her still.
