I love soo many characters equally to Edward it's insane (ironically most of the characters I love are, indeed, insane)!
-Lestat (Vampire Chronicles...Blonde, ruthless vampire? I'm totally in!)
-Heathcliff (Wuthering Heights ... dark, dashing, handsome, victim of circumstance!)
-Prince Zuko (anyone who watches Avatar: The Last Airbender should understand)
-Kiri ("Battle Royale" Live-action...he kills everyone off in such a neat way!)
-Light & L ("Deathnote"... intense and cute all at once, Tennis is almost as good as Baseball)
I like these ones more than Edward (I know! It's Blasphemy!):
-Chains (no one knows about him yet though *tear*)
-KYOOO!!! (DIR EN GREY!!! WOOOOTT!!! *hyperventilates and dies*)

It's not really that great of a dare.
It's an opinion question.
Yes, Edward is wonderful, and he has made me swoon a couple of lines.
Though, for me I'd choose my Achmed from Elizabeth Haydon's Symphony of Ages series over him anyday.

Phantomette Ouran Host Club Dog Yeah right. Like we could fine a character better than Edward. Actually, I could get ten people to agree that Jacob Black is better than Edward. Not that I agree, it's just that I know ten people who would agree. Personally, I love them both equally. wink actually, I like bella better, I think that she is more deveolped as a character and a person, I can connect with her as a person, I understand what she is going through (clearly not the vampire thing, but pretty close)

Riku from the KH series... my anti-hero turned hero. heart heart
Edward is a very close second.
Then Alanna from 'The Song of the Lioness' series by Tamora Pierce. (My favorite author ever!)
Then Saro Vingo from the 'Fool's Gold' trilogy by Jude Fisher.
Then Jonathan from 'The Song of the Lioness' series by Tamora Pierce.
Then Alexander from Vampire Kisses.
This list could go on and on and on.

Okay, I'll shush now. If any fangirls wanna beat me with "I <3 Edward More Than Life Itself" signs, do so now...I assumed this was only referring to characters within Stephanie Meyer's books...but, I do like Wes more. *is in love with Sarah Dessen books* <333

MsDark_Heart Okay, I would never say that there's a character better than Edward, but, off the top of my head I can name someone I love just as equally; Alexander Sterling from the Vampire Kisses series. Definatley! I love them both! mrgreen
