Roobarb Eirwyn So much so that when in High School I created a character that was a fox for a series I've ended up writing or drawing comics of for the past 30 years, I copied Robin. That character has grown into his own personality & art style over the years, but he's still a red fox with white front & black ears. Do you have a picture on your computer that you could post? (when you're computer's fixed of course... sweatdrop ) I have one I was messing with my Wacom tablet with last winter. I'll try to remember to post it for you. Oughta have my computer back very soon now, & with more RAM too so maybe it'll work a bit better in Towns & such! Gonna need that with all the people crowding into Towns already... eek )

Really quite disappointed by today's episode. The "twist" was far too obvious, and it really quite spoiled the flow. Keith Allen was brilliant as the Sheriff though...

Yeah, I've actually had to leave off my review because I seem to just be bitching about each episode. And this last one...
Well I wouldn't say it was entirely bad. It was just oddly... not quite good. Individually some of the characters were fantastic. I liked Joe and the Master At Arms especially. But the story... it wasn't all there... and grr did Robin annoy me!
I never thought I'd say this but Marian would make a MUCH better hero than him. And her hero-costume is funkier too.

Roobarb I never thought I'd say this but Marian would make a MUCH better hero than him. Wasn't there a program on CBBC like that? Where they replaced Robin with Marian and spoofed all the other characters? I can't remember, it was a while ago...

Was that 'Back to sherwood'?
Where they had that girl who was an ancestor of Robin Hood and she went back in time to fight the evil sherrif (or some such)

I can't remember what it was called, but it was probably soemthing like "Adventures of Maid Marian". But perhaps I've just gone crazy.

It was 'Maid Marian and her Merry Men' and it was written by the guy who does Baldric in Blackadder (I believe...). It's very good, but a lot of the jokes were about mud as I seem to remember...
If you look down the list on page 1 though there are actually 3 or 4 female Robin Hood replacements. I hope they were all as good.

I see you don't have 'Help i'm a teenage outlaw!' on the list. It was on CITV this year i believe...
I think it had Robin Hood in somewhere, although i can't remember any actual references...

Crumpet Lord Ok so Roy died. That was really unexpected. You sound so sarcastic there. Do you actually mean the unexpected part or not? It wasn't unexpected to me cos I read it on the RobinHood2006 forum. Still, there was always the chance they were lying. I'm gonna miss Roy... And I definitely think that episode was MUCH better than the previous ones. Though the first has still been the most fun, this was the most hard-hitting and full of 'ooh'. Not perfect 'ooh' but enough 'ooh' to keep me watching till next week.

I actually seriously non-sarcastically do. I wasn't expecting it until they surrounded him with the swords.

He took a LOT of stabbbing to kill. He was still going 'ouch' and 'ooh' after a dozen or so pokes with the swords.
