I couldn't guarantee that I would be impartial... someone else with experience should be chosen.
Decision making and leadership experience make sense. Experience based on clicking tabs and buttons, doesn't make as much sense. It's not like someone needs to know html or something like that to be a mod.

I like how no one thinks I can be responsible. Its just im ALWAYS on, like tell me a time when Im not. I know how to follow rules and Godmoding in a guild is stupid. I already try to tend to requests and that in my Cult....

I could be wrong but I seem to remember getting threatened by you that you would delete a topic I made, think it was in the reuinion guild where you were a mod, based on it containing an image related to The Game just because you didn't like it. Sounds real responsible to me. Anyhow, I don't really have a problem with the thought of you as a mod, I just thought that I would point that little situation out.
Does anyone else feel that mods should be picked based on their experience in that field? For example, I've owned three different guilds, not counting my current dead one, and moderated at least five others, so I would be qualified for the position because I would know what I am doing. Perhaps we should look for people who are similarly qualified at moderating active guilds?
And for the record, I don't really want to be a mod here, I just pointed my qualifications out for an example, I don't think I could be completely impartial with certain people here and thus won't be volunteering.

First of all the reunion had so many crew and such I doubt anything any crew did really mattered. And threatened, I consulted Siamese on everything. But of course You would point out anything against anyone.

To tell joo the truth of what I think of today's lovely contestants...
Mori's nice and fair, and he's the sniper gets on a fair amount. He was one of, in fact my first friend from the GCDSG. He's funny, too, and that's the makings of a pretty dang good mod.
M-Meru? ._. .... Erm,l I'll leave it at "no comment" for now.
Belle seems very nice, and what I've seen of her makes her mod material. She considers all the options and makes an unbiased desion.
I haven't seen much of Des, but by what others have said and what I've seen so far, she seems nice and a really good choice.
Erm, I haven't seen much of Ezzy either. She does seem kind and unbiased and all that, but I can't really tell. (Wow, I like live under a rock or something!)
Inso I HAVE seen some of. She's nice and thoughtful and I just keep reusing the same adjectives. O_o But don't judge anyone by my low level of vocabulary.
Erm, Dukes didn't want to enter but still got a vote....

I would say no to Dukes. He has a life, and hence wont be around much. I like you rarely see Des, making her a bad canidate because we need someone on alot. Ezzy, she seems to be around enough, and I know she would be fair and unbiases, same with Insom. Mori I very rarely see, so I say it would be a no for him because we need someone on alot.
Why not comment on Meru? She's on plenty, and she is fair and unbiased. So far I think Meru, Insom, and Ezzy would be the best choices for us.
Not that I think it matters...Zae got my pm about the mod thing a few days ago and still nothing has been done...so we may never even get new mods.
EDIT - I also believe everyone saying Meru would be a bad mod are not mod material. If you jump to conclusions like that that is a huge problem. What if Meru and lets say...Insom... got into a fight? You would probably be all "oh Meru most have started it...lets ban her from the guild" when really it could have been insom. Judgemental people =/= good, fair mods.

You don't see me around because I haven't posted a lot lately. I've been a bit...busy. I lurk, though. I read every thread in the main forum and most of the Sniped D. If your prefer someone who posts a lot, though, then...I don't fill the criteria. xD
And I have no problems with Meru being a mod. Everyone here seems to be just as qualified as other, but my personal vote goes for Ezzy or Insomn. I second what Nymphie said about Ezzy and Insom...
...assuming this ever happens. ._.

@ Meru: I was just making sure all the facts were on the table, note how I also mentioned that I personally couldn't do the job and guarantee impartiality, a point against myself. It's not like I am making you look bad to make me look good, yanno? Just making sure you couldn't make yourself appear falsely perfect, same as I would do with anyone. For the record I am not saying you would be a bad mod, just thought I should make sure you're not misconstruing what I say.

@ Nymphie: I already said No to myself, would be kind of hard to force me to do the job. Yanno?
@ Insom: Dedication doesn't really matter, they need to be responsible too.
AND THIS IS NOT SAYING MERU ISNT (I know someone would try to say that's what I am saying if I didn't say this...)
@ All: As far as I am concerned, anyone who wants to be a mod would probably be a bad mod just because they want to be a mod. Most people who want to be a mod want to be one for the "prestige" or the "power". Not that all of the people who have posted here probably want it for those reasons, but that's a general thing I have noticed over the course of the things I have run in the past, Guilds, Forums, Fansites, MMORPGS, etc.

O____o FTW that's the reason I said no comment! Jeez, I didn't say any because I've heard so much I don't know whether to make heads or tails of joo, Meru! gonk *hops around* I... will... not.... type.... anymore...... *twitch twitch* *foam*
Personally, I think Ezzy and Insom are getting alot of comments on how good they are, and any experience I've had with them they were UBER nice... I haven't been here as long as many people, but I'm jumping the the Ezzy/Insom bandwagon.

Most people who want to be a mod want to be one for the "prestige" or the "power". Not that all of the people who have posted here probably want it for those reasons, but that's a general thing I have noticed over the course of the things I have run in the past, Guilds, Forums, Fansites, MMORPGS, etc. Power and prestige...on an internet forum... ...some people may want it for that reason but...yeah... Somehow I get the feeling if someone tried putting the fact that they were a forum moderator of whatever forum on a resume...it might get a laugh if not a weird look. (Totally unrelated but resume's are where people put "powerful and prestegious" things on.)
