I used to wear weird stuff at Who Cons. back in 1988 Colin was at Magnum Opus Con in Columbus, GA. I knew I was going to go because I had wimped out on driving so far all by myself the previous year...when Pat Troughton was there--& died there. MOC '88 was really my first con & I went all out--I made a parody of the 6th Doctor's coat! I wanted to show everybody something REAALLY cringe-inducing...& it worked so well it made COLIN cringe! xd Because I had that coat on I met somebody who is like a sister to me to this day. We were both insane Colin fans! rofl
I need to take a pic of the "12" coat (my then-new friend declared on a tackiness scale from 1 to 10, that coat was a 12! mrgreen ) & post it here to inflict on you all. The only pic I have from back then is me wearing it (& being waaaay skinnier) & you can't view the full glory of the outrageously clashing panels! mrgreen

Eirwyn I need to take a pic of the "12" coat (my then-new friend declared on a tackiness scale from 1 to 10, that coat was a 12! mrgreen ) & post it here to inflict on you all. Did you manage to convince Colin to try it out? That would have been awesome!

Hairy Priest Corpse_Marker The only Cosplay I have done was for The Rocky Horror Picture Show....as Magenta. 3nodding Would that be the french maid outfit, lingerie, or that weird glam rock look she and Riff Raff had at the end? The glam rock one was always a favorite, since got to wear my hair like the Bride of Frankenstein......but I have done both. domokun

Damyania where do you people go to cosplay? i've never done so... I'm guessing conventions. Those are usually a good place to do all sorts of outlandish stuff you wouldn't do in normal life. Though I do remember some guy dressing up in a home-made Star Trek uniform for jury selection once. Seems like a good way to get yourself out of actually having to do jury duty...

Never done any cosplaying...
Though I think if I dressed up as Tegan, I could get my b.f. to wait on me hand and foot for about a week lol.
I'm not a big fan of dressing up. I like comfy clothes too much for it.

I have a sort of black-instead-of-brown 10 cosplay I wander around in! It's pretty similar, only it's black, not brown (strangely enough!!)
On Gaia, I cosplay as 10. Well, there's a slight resemblance...

I totally chose Jack. But as for personality, Owens damn close. Attractive, no...funny and smug...yes...
I find that combination oddly attractive. My b.f. is living proof of it.
I like gwen as well, but i like the dynamic between her and jack much more then i like her solo.

If you dressed up like Tegan, I think I'd ask you for an extra bag of honey-roasted peanuts. Or do you mean after she finally ditched the purple uniform? I picked Gwen because I think her Welsh accent is hot! whee

I've never actually seen any episodes of Torchwood, nor do I recall most of the names mentioned in Doctor Who. I picked Jack because he's the only character in that list that I actually know. sweatdrop
