Here's what I think...
Vampires: Vampires, nowadays are over rated, everyone loves them and wishes to be them, where as Zombies tend to strike fear into the hearts of humans. The fear of seening a loved one long since dead coming at you in all intent on killing you and not remembring who you are. And you... Having to kill them... Seeing them die once more....
Zombies: Zombies are number one on the fright fest list, but very low on the people's favorite's list. Sure, Vampires bite and whatever. But what's so special about them? Nothing. Sure. They're torn... THey're sad... But so are Zombies. They don't know it but like ghosts, they envy the living, wishing that they were alive once more. But no. They can't be. But they are more superior.

In the end, I chose Vampires,
I mean, Zombies are awesome,
But Vamps? They pwn all.

Zombies are...
Dead and decomposing
Most likely die when their body is unable to be used any longer
Can only act on basic needs (feeding and, apparently, moving)
They really couldn't move that fast so unless you were stupid enough to actually get close to one and stick your arm next to its mouth, you wouldn't get hurt.
Vampires...
I love vampires.
Cold hearts
Ruthlessness
Fury
Some are fast, suck blood, suck life force (psychic energy not blood), massive amounts of strength, and some fly (according to movies not real life).
My favorite has always been and will always be the vampire.

Ima have to go zombies. EVer seen Dawn of the Dead? Neither have I. BUt I did see some clips. THe zombies got their arms shreded in a fan. THey just truged on w/o em. THe vamps would be dead if they got THEIR arms cut off.
Besides, Mr. Green here is green, and zombies are too! mrgreen
