Asuri, we have a fa'e based off the myth of the Western Scorpio zodiac, so I don't see a problem with using a myth from the Chinese zodiac.

I will suggest steering clear of FruBa territory, though xd Since I think we're all familiar with that and want to see something new and original.

Jan, I think I'll leave that one for Sosi to answer... I really don't know. I don't think that there would be a problem, since they were the Horsemen of the Apocalypse and not the sole incarnation of all pestilence, war, etc. If you're going with the AntiChrist, I do wonder how he died... And you are aware that Roth rules Hell, right?

The AntiChrist is not part of the myth I'm going for, just to clarify ^^ Just part of the reasoning as to why Pestilence is 'dead'. Mistranslation etc. If that makes sense without extended explanation xD;

Oh, okay, I didn't read that correctly XD

In that case I don't see a problem. You have a valid reason for death and the Horsemen aren't what I'd consider major figures of the religion, so go for it.

So I still want to do the Headless Horseman, but I'm wondering if that's too close to Toushin's unfinished thread about the jack o' lantern... (just...found that blast it. it was last updated Oct 5th.)

Honestly, I could leave off the pumpkin head and just have him headless, but then that loses some of his weird mystique. what do you think?

I would say it's fine at this stage Mahii. If Jack were already a fa'e then it might be more of an issue, but since you're both questing and the myths themselves aren't similar, it's fine.

I'm not sure if the Horseman had enough power of his own to be reborn as a fa'e, but I suppose that depends on which version of the legend you use and what spin you put on it. It'll be interesting to see what you do with it ^^

Another question, because I'll never get it right if i don't ask.

At the moment I can't find anything that says that the Headless Horseman actually died. If I said something along the lines of people becoming less superstitious and more skeptical causing him to die out because he's a folk legend and those die if people don't keep them up, then would that work?

I would rather not follow the movie plot where he gets killed...because the movie is just that. A movie. Not the legend itself.

That's fine, Mahii ^^ Several people have had similar things, where the myth dies out when no ne believes in it anymore.

Uhm, my myth was the Garden of Eden from biblical mythology, and I don't know if that's off-limits or not. It's not a big deal if it isn't, but... I just want to know, because I really like her.

Eden is fine. It's the big figures of mythology that are off limits - Christ, God, Mary, the Apostles, etc.

Question about Lost Children! *raises hand* Do they haaaaave to be in the Teen stage? I can technically tailor my idea to fit the Lost Children story, but I was expecting most of my character's development to begin in the Child stage. I imagine that the Fa'e don't grow at a uniform speed, what if some of the Lost Children just grew slow?

Sorry, Anya wants to start them at teen stage. Slightly less art for her, and more immediately into the game for you guys. I think the point is that you can jump right in with an already developed/matured character.
