I actually liked AFIN. The only thing I didnt like was that it wasnt set in Greece and Xena didnt even mention Eve, seriously wtf? I thought her dieing was a good way to end the show.

Dark_Lady_Jade Azhren Dark_Lady_Jade Azhren OH i thoughta somthin! eek rememba teh xena scrolls where ares said xena trapped him in a coffin or somthin neutral well she never did that! eek SO she probably came back from being dead an an did that later! eek HAHA! xd i knew it! twisted There's a lot of stuff they said happened in the series that wasn't shown to the viewers. Remember earlier in the series, in the episode that took place in the 1940s, Ares said that the female archeologist (the one with the guns and attitude) was a descendant of Gabrielle? yush! 3nodding .....why? waz she not???? eek cuz she kindeh looked a lot like her.... ninja Yeah, she was. 3nodding So it's evident that Gabby had more adventures after the series ended. oh! yea yea! 3nodding so she culda brought xena back! 3nodding then had kids somewhere in thar.... or hope comes back! eek

I didnt want her to die but I understood why it went that way. The whole show was about Xena finding redemptions for her sins, in AFIN she did that.

Xena claimed that she was done with being guilty and s**t a while ago.
Akime bugged the tartarus out of me.
It was so messed up how Xena pretty much chose her over Gabrielle.
I was literally yelling at my TV "JUST DO IT!!!!" when Xena was talking Gabby out of pouring the ashes into the water.
And then of course Gabby goes crazy because her soulmate just died *for good* and she starts hallucinating Xena there next to her.
And the villain?
Oh man.
Worst bad guy EVER.
He was so retarted.
I mean, he turned into freaking steam?
Lame.
It would've been better if even someone like Alti had killed her.
Or anyone else in the show that actually was slightly awesome and had history with Xena.
A friend in need = failure in my opinion. I agree! I HATED it! Urhg it makes me want to cry just thinkin about it. It was just bad..... there were so many plot holes, and things that just did not make any sense! Like..... if the ghost killer guy was THE ghost killer guy, why didnt he kill that stupid ghost?! And if Gabrielle had to go get Xena's body and get the ashes before sun down or w/e why did she take the time to get a giant tattoo? Why did the guy who played ming tien get to kill Xena? Why did Xena trust Akemi when she betrayed her terribly in her past, and usually Xena is a suspicious person? Why was Xena wearing mardi gras classing during her romantice speach to gabrielle?WHY! was it Xena's fault that those people died? and WHY! would she have to stay dead in order for them to be redeemed? If Xena was going to die why didn't she be like "Tell my daughter I love her"? Why was Gabrielle taking advice from circus acts?! Why didn't Gabrielle beat that b***h Akemi's a** and say you aren't stealing my soulmate! cause that is what she was doin. Why do asian men always come out of the bushes and deliver a message that always leads to something bad? and I have more..... but here is my biggest point... There Are Two Kinds Of Tears; Ones For Those Who Leave You...FRIG I HATED the last episode!! You're right, the ONLY good part was about the kiss! GAHHHHH! It makes me soooo upset even thinking about it! And Ones For Those You Can't Let Go

I always thought that the show would have been better off ending with the season 4 finale. I liked the fact that they seemed to be content dying together, and there was no big dramatic fight about whether one or the other of them would find their path or be redeemed. It was just the two of them together, and kind of a romantic end, even. Sometimes I like to pretend that Xena doesn't exist after season 4.
P.S. I only have 1 cat, but that's just because he'd eat any other cats I'd try to bring in. 4laugh
