The walk was speedy enough, leading them to the now trashed Gym arena. It looked even worse now that the dust had cleared. The hole that Beacon's Thunder had blasted open still spat out a chunk of plaster every now and then. "Well now, just hand me my Breloom and we can get right to work!"

"Don't say 'sir' to me in that ungrateful tone..." he growled. The man took his seat and drummed his fingers on the desk. "I want you to give me a report of your progress. Are you returning with him?"

Norman peeked out of the room that held the lumber and repair supplies in it smiled a bit at Mike before pointing to the other side room. "He should be in there ready to go. I also left you a present next to your Breloom's pokeball. It's an attack you should be very familiar with by now." He finished with a smile before ducking back into the storage room and picked up a few pieces of wood that he wanted to use and lugging them out into the main part of the room.

"I wonder what it could be?" Mike asked jokingly, eyeing the TM and money next to Portabello's pokeball. He pocketed all but the ball, releasing his Pokemon. "How're you feeling buddy?" He gave his refreshed Breloom a pat on the head, who closed his eyes and smiled, getting on his tippy toes, pushing into Mike's hand.

The pokeball containing Norman's Zangoose shook where it rested on a nearby table before the white pokemon released itself. Glancing around it studied the room before its golden eyes landed on Mike and Portabello. The last thing it remembered was the Counter attack that it had unleashed on him. It growled slightly but didn't do anything for a moment before walking out and going to where his trainer was dragging out various pieces of wood that they would need to repair the gym.

Picking up a few 2x4s, Mike walked over to the spot where the Zangoose who just so happened to be glaring at his Pokemon, shoved Portabello and tore up the floorboards. Releasing Nitro, he asked his Charizard to take out all the wood panels surrounding the damage, so he could replace them all and give the floor a good shine. "Ever consider remodeling to a more...better arena?" The boy said helping Nitro stack the broken wood.

Norman chuckled at Mikes comment before saying. "I happen to like wood floors. But yes it is somewhat of a pain when I have to replace them." He said. Glancing over at his Zangoose keeping a close eye on the vicious pokemon he took out another pokeball letting out a Vigoroath which upon seeing the situation immediately started helping Nitro take out the floorboards. Going over to where Zangoose was he smiled at the pokemon before asking. "Zangoose we could use your claws to help cut these boards to the right size's I will take you out Sevipper hunting."
Zangoose who hadn't looked to thrilled before perked up at that and moved over to some of the boards awaiting instruction.

The Charizard grinned at the helpful Pokemon, continuing his work of removing the floor boards. Portabello had assisted Mike in adding new ones untill the floor looked like it had never been destroyed. "Excellent job!" The boy clapped his hands together, looking at the roof, or lack thereof.
"How'll we tackle that?" He asked, using Portabello as an armrest.

Weezing floated ahead, beating trainer and Flareon into the Verdanturf limits. Kilik ran to catch up; the Pokemon seemed to know where the boy lived. The boy turned the corner and noticed that Weezing was ramming the door with its body, to a point that it fell to the ground. "Weezing! Cut that out!" he ordered. When he reached the patio, the door opened. In the door way stood a tall man.
This man was balding somewhat, but his hair was just as black as Kilik's. A bit of scruffy stubble adorned his jaw line. He wore horn-rimmed glasses that reflected his bright blue eyes. He was wearing a white dress shirt, along with a black and white pinstriped blazer and pants. He wore no shoes, and his socks were black. Kilik took a step back, wrapping a hand around the railing of the steps heading up the patio.
"D-Dad?" he whispered.

Norman looked up at the ceiling to for a moment before answering. "Have your Charizard fly one of us up and then bring the wood up so that way one of us can repair it up there while the other stay's down here and start's cleaning up."
Zangoose was looking around curiously it didn't have any more wood to cut and it was itching for a battle, preferably with a Sevipper, though he wouldn't mind a rematch with that Breloom over there. He grinned at the thought before glancing at his trainer and deciding that he could always go Sevipper hunting now and come back latter. That sounding like a good idea the white pokemon bounded off outside of the door's eagerly heading off towards the beach.

Nitro walked over, grabbing Norman by the scruff of his collar. Flapping his wings, the fire pokemon carried the gym leader to the roof and placed him down, returning with an armful of wood.
The Breloom merely glanced out the side of his vision at the rampant Zangoose. Wrecklessness is the first step to failure.

Upon being picked up Norman made a small undignified 'epp' noise. When he was set down he glanced down curiously before getting up and surveying the hole from the outside. Sighing a bit he began to move some of the other stuff out of the way so that he could work. Not long after he had replaced the wood on the outside and he figured he would have to get some professional's to do an actual good job of it but he figured that this would do for a bit. Sighing he sat down on the roof of the gym now not quite sure how he was going to get done.
Zangoose ran through the grass sniffing a few times trying to catch the sent of it's eternal enemy. It's long white tail was waving in the wind and was getting a few odd stare's from people walking on the path nearby.

((I figure I better post as Dante again... Now that the gym battle is over and all)) Now that the battle was over Dante just smiled slightly before turning around and hopping up onto Apollo's back. "Good job out there buddy, now lets get Meowth and get off this island, I have the urge to go on some sort of adventure." The fire horse under him cheered happily before charging down the path that Scott and Meowth had gone down just as eager to get on another adventure as him.

Mike sat down on the newly aligned floor, wiping it with a moist rag, making it shine. He wondered what the use of it was, it was only going to get destroyed again.
He tapped his fingers on the ground, hoping for it to get finished soon.

Nina walked slowly around Blackthorn City, taking in the oh-so-familiar scenery, and breathing in the scent of her home. While she was happy back with her parents and sister, her mood seemed to have fluxed a bit. She felt detached from herself, for reasons she didn't quite understand, and also felt a very strange feeling surging through her: it was an extreme amount of unexplicable rage. She wondered if this was how Sabrina had felt during what Nina called her "dark time," when she had imprisoned their birth parents into the dollhouse, and was a ruthless person overall.
What felt like an eternity, but was actually only a few minutes later, the feelings of rage inside Nina subsided, and she was relatively calm again. She blinked a few times, and shook her head a little bit. What was that? she thought to herself. And, why did it feel so...
Her thoughts trailed off as she sat underneath a semi-large tree. Leaning her back up against it, Nina tried to clear her mind.
