It was such an innocent gesture. So little was innocent anymore. Her smiled deepened, and she nodded.
"I shall see you again..." she turned away, and opened the door, and continued to hum, turning it into a song.
"I hold it true, whate'er befall; I feel it, when I sorrow most; 'Tis better to have loved and lost Than never to have loved at all."

Richard watched Emerwyn close the door behind her. He'd met five islanders now not bad for three days. Everyone of them completely different. Emerwyn was the first that seemed at least comfortable with her change, althought it was the least drastic he'd seen so far.
Emerwyn was a good way to end the day, Richard felt that he had helped her somehow and that put a bit of a spring in his waddle as he made his way towards his Duplex. He barely even noticed the stairs.
