"Then by that respect, so should you." She repeated with a sting in her words. She had noticed Chris walk in, she glanced at him. Though still fun, Shura grew irritated with her attitude. How ungreatful.
"Wishing death on another of your previous species? My work gained good, clear, results. Doctor Moreau, and Sabin? They work hard to give you these gifts, to give you the freedom to do as you wish, to experience things no other human would. You make no attempt to accept it, and merely spit on the ground they walk on. A pack on ungreatful worms, is what you are," she spat.

Christopher let out a growl and clenched his fists, his teeth beared. He snarled as he spoke, "Gifts?! Such great gifts! Wolves might be my favorite animal and I might have wanted to experience what it was like to be one, but how you a**holes go about is f**king ridiculous! You rob people from their normal lives, their loved ones, under false pretenses and put them through Hell!"
"And Moreau is a b*****d!!! He abuses his power. He's a manipulative little craven who p*sses and kicks others when they are down! If you really wanted to benefit others, why didn't you pick people who wanted this done to them?! There's plenty of them out there! But no, you snatch away anybody and take away their lives!!! You lie to them and change them against their will! You expect them to be grateful to that?!"
When the woman spit, some of it actually landed on Christopher's face. He wiped it away, the anger inside of him rising. Chris's tail went erect and he growled in a defensive manner.

She was just about to start yelling again when Chris beat her to it, she was taken aback by his action. She had never seen him yell and curse so much, or was it just the wolf talking?
Feeling nothing else had to be said she nodded and growled as well. This woman was royally pissing her off. Part of her just wanted to claw her eyes out but the other side wouldn't let her move at all.

((Uhm. Shura didn't actually spit. That's just a way of saying there was anger/bitterness in her words... <_<;; ))
Shura gave a half irritated sigh. Why they didn't see it her way, she didn't know. She didn't care to find out. Although as amusing and irritating as it was, she was getting a reaction from them. And that, above all else, was what kept her in that room.
There was nothing in particular she wanted to say at that moment, she simply smirked in her seated position, her fingers still tapping to that unknown beat.

"It would be one thing if you taking people away from their lives, taking them aside, and telling the truth of what you plan to do to them!" Christopher barked out at this woman. "But you don't do that! You lie to them!!! And you don't even try to comfort any of them! They're just guinea pigs and dollar signs to you jacka**es!!!"
Christopher tried to control himself as he could see from the look on the woman's face that she was enjoying this. Taking in a few deep breaths, Chris anchored himself to a more rational state of mind. He had to play on this woman's level if he was going to make her understand anything, or beat him.
Christopher inquired in a calm tone of voice, "What honestly makes you think people are going to react calmly, rationally, and grateful to what you are doing to them, the way you go about it?"

There was a moment, where you could practically see her mind working, already knowing the answer to the question. She breathed calmly, unafraid, she knew they couldn't hurt her without themselves being hurt, and punished.
"You say we rip people from their lives? Well then, would you care to send Colche back to her previous life, then? The one where her father kept her chained to a wall and sold her innocence to those filthy men? Would you like to be the one who sends her back to that? Well, feel free. I'm sure she'd be so pleased to know that she can return to her life as a sex slave," She watched him intently.
"Would that please you?"

~Glacus 50% (lionfish for those who don’t know)~
Glacus came to the door to the entertainment room, he left his copy of the Inferno in there and he wanted to finish it, it had been there since Gallen talked to him. He was hoping it would be vacant he didn’t really want to get question by an islander he didn’t know yet. He put his hand to the door and he heard the familiar roar of Chris and Katina’s voice as well as another woman’s voice.
He opened the door, and saw that his book was at the other end of the room, on the other side of the blazing argument. Chris was yelling “…But no, you away anybody and take away their lives!!! You lie to them and change them against their will! You expect them to be grateful to that?!"
He didn’t know what compelled him to say anything, he only came here for his book but he assumed it was out of fear for Katina, or loyalty to Chris. He had heard this before, and he knew what his response was. Katina and Chris were in typical defense mode, and some very mysterious woman menacing them without a remote look of care on her countenance.
“Do you people have any concept on what a life is?” he said facing the woman, he continued in his usual level tone, “Why would you take someone away from everything they knew just to disconcert them and please yourself?”

Christopher scoffed and shot back, no spite present in his voice, "Oh sure. Use the one charity case example out of how many? How about the lock out? I heard all about that little doozy. How about what you did to Pyroth? And rumor has it that Moreau turned that Vasile gay."
Gaining confidence, Chris stepped right in front of the woman and leaned right into her face. "What about the pain you've caused my fiancee? What about all the emotional breakdowns you've cause so many people to have? Also, I know all about that incident with the wolf girl and her bunny friend. How careless of you all to just suddenly jump her from the first stage of changes to being completed. That was asking for disaster! It's your fault that incident even happened."
"Besides, maybe people wouldn't be so bad off if you at least took the time to counsel them, like Aubrey! She's the only that gives a s**t about anyone on a personal level while all the rest of you just sit back and take pride in the torment you cause others. Maybe if you had been honest... But you weren't. All of you ******** up big time!"
Giving her a quick mock smile, Christopher added, "Besides... I said nothing about wanting to leave. Just pointing how much you treat us like poppets is all."
Chris looked up and grinned when he saw Glacus enter and speak up for them as well. "So nice to see you again pal."

((It's gang up on Shura day! xp ))
With a defiant eye, she stared at Christopher. It was clear he didn't scare her, none of them did.
"And those who knew what was going on, and yet still agreed? What of them? You cast them aside as if they don't matter, because they don't agree with your views. You forget I'm an islander, a volunteer. And you neglect the fact that I wasn't holding the needle. I merely created what was inside them," She was getting bored of this, now. She hated repeating herself, and with these people, she felt like a broken record skipping and skipping and falling onto deaf ears. The novelty of it was wearing far too thin.

“There all forms of monster woman,” Glacus snapped, his lethal fins tensing up. “Colche may have an improvement, but you created what took us from our families, and made them believe we died. That may not mean a thing to you, but one day you will have to atone for your sins.” He glared at her. “You’ll need your soul in life, to bad you wasted it.” He scooped his, copy of the inferno and began to flip through it. “You would be impossible to place in Hell. Your lu.st for power should put you in the second circle,” He flipped to Canto V, and “your Gluttony for money would land you in three, is there any abhorration you are not guilty of?”
He flipped through the entire book, until he came to the last canto, and the picture of Lucifer, "This is where you belong."

"Besides," Christopher added, backing up Glacus. "...You ignored all my points. Or do you not like touching upon what you did wrong?"
Then Christopher walked away from the woman and paced towards the door. He opened it in a curtious manner, then made a gesture to back his following statement. "If you don't like it... here's the door."
He said the last part with a bit of satisfaction, his teeth exposed in a grin and his tail wagging.

Money? Power? What on earth was he blabbering about?
"I beg your pardon? Who said I was in it for power, or money? I certainly didn't. If I wanted power, I would not have volunteered myself into this project. If I wanted money, I would have created the serums and sold them to the highest bidder," She stood now, though not the tallest, nor the butchest.
Her posture and demeaner surely demanded respect, especially those cold eyes.
"It's interesting to see someone who was a former technician of the labs, someone under the employ of Moreau, arrives, and you all seem to find a backbone and throw your arguements, and threats- verbal or no- at them," She walked, calmly passed the three, not a second glance at any of them. Her hand finding the doornob and turning it.
"Is it really so much easier to take out your frustrations on me, simply because I was working for them? Because I came here of my own free will and agree with the purpose of this project? I know what I've done, thank you. And if there is an after-life, then surely I'll be under your so called 'god's' judgement. Not yours."

"I make no judgements, I only speaketh the truth. But be warned, this cerebus serum of yours, how can you be sure it won't split your conciosuness as well?" Glacus said as a final threat.

"My dear sir... I count on it happening," She replied, simply.

"Well then, I hope you are happy. Especially if those heads begin warring with each other." He jabbed at her again, 'what exactly is she?' was all he could think of, does she really believe I’m afraid?' ."I'm sure we'll meet again."
