I wish I had a moving story, but I don't. I've simply been a Christian all my life, raised in a Christian family. However, I have only recently started seriously pursuing my faith. I guess that mainly came about through my youth group. My youth pastor is awesome, by the way.

I was saved in Lake Jackson....in a river.^^ I was eleven and I wanted to get saved to help others and I thought that I could do that by becoming closer to god and that I would have healing powers.lol That didn't happen, but I could help people more it seemed..I understood the bible alittle better and when I was under the water I felt a hand on my shoulder, but it wasn't the pastor because his hands were under my head and one over my noise and mouth and no one else was in the water.....I though it was a fish and over looked it. When I came up I felt happier..umm...better some how...can't really explain it, but that day was the happiest day of my life...that and getting my sister.^^

Well I don't have any story to tell but I was born into a Christian family. But my parents had it differently.

I came to christ for one of the worse reasons there is. Jealousy. I was jealous because my friends had all found christ and they were leaving me behind. So I followed the bandwagon but it's so much more than that now. I love christ for my own reasons that are in my own heart...along with jesus. O and pray for my moms eye!

i was raised in a christian family, but i didnt understand christ until i was about 13 years old... i came to know the real jesus up at a christian camp

I was born and raised a Christian. My first church was Methodist although. And my mom was raised Catholic. Dad was atheist (think i spelled it right, probably didn't), until he met my mom.

hiya! im new to this guild and gaia! i joined 2 days ago! i would like u to know that i was born into a jehovah's witness family. a couple of years ago, my mom and dad broke up and my mom left the jehovah's witnesses and became christian. i was in no religion at the time until one of my christian friends invited me to a youth event so i went cuz it sounded like fun! she later asked me to start showing up at youth group, and i did! i9 have been going ever since and i have gone to youth conventions and stuff with the youth. i know i dont attend church as much as i should, and theres no excuse, so im gonna try harder. at the youth conventions i have come closer to jesus and i just know that he watches and cares for me! that makes me very happy because b4 i always felt alone. i was recently baptized about a month and a half ago, and i am awaiting a visit from the holy spirit! i hope thats enough info to let u kno about me! if theres anything else ya wanna know, pm me, or post here, thanx!

The holy spirit has been with you since you first heard of Christ! We only attain salvation if the holy spirit moves you to do it.

I went to Christ when I was five..........it was my mom's birthday and she was at the harvest...my first harvest.I was listening carefully to the preacher....then at the end they call up people who want to be saved...I pulled on my mom's sleeve and said I want to be saved.....she said it was her birthday present. biggrin

I was never a Psalty fan, Veggietales is far more popular in Australia, I'm a hard-core larry fan.

Anyways, I'm an old-schooler (christian born and bred as opposed to "Saveds") I always did the church thing but never really believed, God was a Santa figure, you pretend to believe but underneath you know he's not real. Then during my last year in primary school I got messed up in blackmagic, vampirism and all sorts of dark whatnots, of course none of it was real, it was all just a game to me, all the while attending church and youth group (and actually trying to be a christian influence amongst my "dark" friends, then I was confirmed, the leader of the pack saw it in the paper and all of a sudden I was out of the group, I was free. And then I started to grow in God so much more, and then, earlier this year, I went to NCYC and got such a blast of Holy Spirit it's scary, I've been evangelising and ...YEAH! I feel good now. he...
