The Japanese did terrible things to Koreans and a lot of the Korean kids know about what Japanese did to them.
It was scary. o_o
These Japanese guys were fighting with my Dad over a parking spot, claiming "They found it first", when my dad was right in front of it. xD

Rei Kazeko I think my dad said something about the possibility of oil, but I'm not sure, I could be wrong... Fishing rights maybe? Or possibly pirate gold inside the island...the island...

Do many Japanese people know about this issue? I don't think any of my Japanese friends have even heard about Dokdo... or Takeshima, since they might not know the Korean name.

They do. They just don't care because they think that they're gonna win this fight over anyway just because they're a stronger political power.
