A new moon rose over the pool and for once Aureli didn't wake up that night. No light flowed through the window and the darkness set in by the rising of a dark moon left the night full of wonder. Somewhere it is said that a new moon is one of mystery, perhaps it was the cause that the sleeping babe did not wake but rather dream instead. An ear flicked at the sound of the door being closed by Acorn, the child's watchful babysitter, but the fawn did not wake.
The faint sound of a melody that only she could hear rang in her ears. A soft, yet rich baritone sang through her soul. It seemed all too familiar...
When love turns you away Please don't forget what you've had in your past Keep what you learn Learn what you had Please don't turn love away.
Hush, shush put away tears Don't dream of dragons or falling down stairs Dream of a river as grand as the Night Then sail onto home, sail onto home Sail onto home on a billowing smile.
The smell of rain, and wood filled her as the baby slept away the night.

Aureli-concepts for stages:
Child: hair/ears/tail begin to turn pale, perhaps a very pale brownish color. Spots still present and mostly white. Hair longer, and in pigtails.
Teenager: Hair waist length in a braid to the side, almost white (like a dove brownish-grey) with bare hints of the spots. Ears and tail actually white at the ends. Butterfly clip readjusted to a loose necklace. Playful and elegant looking.
Adult: Hair/ears/tail acutal white, long to her ankles and worn loose and down. Clothing to be a white dress (have fun with the design). Quiet and serene nature.
