Hey, did anybody else notice that Jimmy Olson (or is it Olsen?) called Clark "CK"????? I thought that was great. Already getting into the Superman storyline. This is the beginning of a be-you-tiful friendship! wink

XD I noticed that... That was so from "Lois and Clark" (even though it was a over sexed up superman series from time to time) ^.^ I was just like blaugh OMG!!!
O.o was I seeing something that wasn't there or did Zods "phantom" look kinda like Zod from superman 2 when it was being 'ripped' out of Lex's body?
razz I loved Jimmys reaction though after Chloe shot in his general direction (you'd think with a trunk full of millitary weapons she'd have better aim) after he passed panic mode he was just like "this isn't because I didn't call you is it?" or something along the lines
Christ I wasn't a fan of the phantom zone eather... >.O It's like they ran over budget for the episode so they where like stare Alright snowy dessert waistland with a bajillion CG ghostes that look the same...
Is it just me or did anyone else think Zod refering to him self in third person every other line, was just a tad bit annoying... I mean I know they probubly did it so that you would know that Zod is possessing Lex's body... but did he have to say, I am Zod... Zod shall rule... Kneel before Zod... You will give Zod air... >.< just have other people call him Zod... it will get the point across alot better and make Zod sound more intellegant...
O.o I thought about the whole Lex being given the attributes of a Kryptonian thing, but in past episodes where a human gained the attributes of a Kryptonian (example: 'Assylum' where Eric Summers took Clarks powers) Kryptonite had the same effect on the modified human as it does on true Kryptonians...

I really liked this episode. I can't wait for next weeks, hopefully the days of clarks villians all being mutant kryptonite monsters is past though. I was getting tired of that formula.
Though I must say. That fight scene with clark and zod rocked. The high speed action was really cool. But... I wish clark would learn how to fight. He's great against humans, but when up against people equal in strength he just gets knocked around. He needs to take a self defense class or something. rofl

Back on topic a bit, I can't help but mention Lana's 'seduction' of Zod. Lol, I mean c'mon. She barely even had him distracted for what....10 seconds and then says an obvious line that'll make him know something's going on.

I mean, in the previous episode she saw him shoot himself in the hand and nothing happened. What makes her think that the katana will even remotely protect her?

It was a good having Smallville back. The episode was good but it seemed a little undeveloped. I feel bad for Lana I mean that seemed really painful, much much worse then Daredevil. Through the entire seduction thing I was like yelling,"It isn't going to work!!!" Oh well Lana, good try though. I liked the Clois scene too, very cute. I did think it was a little stupid that now after five seasons Chloe moves on when Clark is ready to start a relationship. Good episode overall and I can't wait for next week.

Poor Clark. *cries for clarkie* crying i wish a smallville fan could get an oppurtunity to star on the show. eek that would be awesome blaugh they would be an angel that goes and talks to clark heart and would tell the truth to lana as wellit was kind of ironic that lana ended up going back to look for clark rolleyes i think there's still a bit of hope left for clana xp although they didn't talk during any scenes throughout the whole episode stare hopefully that incident with the katana will drive lexana apart twisted *laughs evily*

There are now words the describe that episode. I was in awe the entire time. I had my mouth hanging open in delight. It was the best opener yet! I liked the beginning when Clark is like: "No...let me out! Hmm...wonder what happens when I step on thi-- AHHHHHHHH!" xp

OMG!!! i LOVED ZOD!!!! heart heart heart heart
Ok well its like this. I am lovin the whole part where Lex totally sent the poll Through Lana's Hand. I haven't really made an opinion on Raya yet. The Phantoms are definatly MOD and although Jimmy is like one of my fav. Comic characters i don't like how he is trying to get in between Clark and Chloe stare Poor Clark!!!! The look on his face when Chloe said they weren't going to hook up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHH!!! it made me scream at the Television. Umm I highly doubt that Brainiac is going to make any more appearances on Smallville. as Jor-el Said "the knife killed all his clones" which basically leaves nothing for Brainiac really.
I loved Martha in that episode and as odd aas it was the whole Mionel Scene didn't really make me sick that much. Martha needs someone for her to lean on, since Lionel knows Clark's secret that gives her support. When you think about it she really can't talk in depth about Clark with Lois and She can't really always talk to Chloe nearly as much as she would like to considering Chloe spends almost all her time in Metropolis unless she is visiting Lois.
I like Ashmore as Jimmy, he is just like the comic character. I loved his "Chloe....this isn't because i didn't call you back is it?" Very Classic Jimmy for you or
Chloe: "Clark Kent this is Jimmy Olsen"
Jimmy: "Actually its...ehm James Olsen"
Chloe: "Since when?"
Jimmy: "well... as of...now..."
I hope Jimmy and Clark become friends. As much as it is probably going to tear me apart to see Jimmy and Chloe together, i hope that they don't have a lot of PDA or flirting....
Next Week= AMAZING!!!!

and i knew your were going to talk about lana getting a pole through her hand stressed i liked the clois scene when clark touched lois's hand. that partt was cute razz i also sucked there were no clana scnes at all sad
