Hitomi just laughed softly, feeling the dirty looks being passed towards Shinku. She felt her wrist grabbed by Shinku as she was quickly led out of the bar. Outside was quiet... or at least compared to the bar. It was pleasant... "Well.." she started quietly, "have you felt the new aura? There's a brand new temple nearby... I'd really like to go..."
She then gave Shinku a hug, not really wanting to let go. "I wanted to thank you... for what you did today. It was really kind..." She paused for a moment, "And your charisma points definately went up." She added cheerily. She gave Shinku a light kiss on the cheek, a small giggle following.
"Let's go... Shinku-san."

Shinku felt her kiss and didn't blush or anything. However, he did say, "You know a lot of guys would probably fall for you... Right?" He then agreed to go with her by nodding his head and saying, "Alright then... Let's go..." He then took her hand and led her away from the bar quietly, heading toward the temple. "Oh... Be warned... I'm not exactly a very spiritual person..." He warned in his calm, quiet voice.

Being pulled along once again, she simply smiled pleasently. "Don't worry..." She started, "you don't have to be very spiritual to go into a temple." Hitomi wasn't all about being spiritual, but she did pray every day... just so she could... "see" her mother.
She shook her head slowly, not wanting to get lost in thought like some sort of zombie. She realized that she was still pulling her staff along, so she strapped it back onto her back, not needing it since she was being led away to the temple anyhow.
Now that she thought about it, mabey she would have a place to stay in the temple... yes, that would be very pleasing indeed.

Kira walked to the race club quietly, Koishi now nothing more than a dagger slipped into a sheathe on his pants for easier storage. He continued in with Rivera and Vesper. He then noticed something interesting on a screen in the club. A black Trueno with a vinyl of a raven black hawk with bloody claws and a red beak. Ravenhawk. It looked as though Shinku was racing in a drift race and not doing so bad.

Rivera entered the racing club. The first thing she noticed was how hectic it looked. Some people greeted her with nods or waves. She tried to return them quickly, but the person was always gone before she had a chance. The LCD panels set up around the place displayed the racetrack. It looked very exciting. She smiled a little. This was the first vehicle race she'll have ever been to.

"Rivera... Shinku's here..." Kira said quietly, watching the race Shinku was in with interest. "And I've got a bad feeling about this..." He mumbled under his breath. But he actually seems a pretty good racer... He thought quietly.
Shinku was racing on the same mountain, against the same opponent; only this time he was winning and Ayasei was losing. He took the next sharp curve of the monutain perfectly, sliding into the turn with ease. "Heh... This is too easy this time!" He exclaimed then whooped as he crossed the finish line, a whole two minutes before Ayasei.

"Shinko? Who's Shinko again?" Rivera asked quietly, her hand placed in the crook of his elbow. She leant against him slightly, enjoying his comforting presence. But Kira seemed a little tense... she wasn't sure what was wrong. "Is something the matter?"

"Shinku's an ex-assassin who was pulled out of retirement to hunt us down..." Kira said quietly. He tried not to seem so tense, but the last time he had fought Shinku, he had been dragged out of a near fatal fight by Rivera. He actually felt a small tremor go up his back from the tension building as Shinku soon walked into the bar and noticed them.
Shinku walked into the bar section of the race club and saw Kira and Rivera and scowled. "What the hell are you two doing on my new turf?" Shinku growled angrilly walking up to both of them. "Thought it would be nice and romantic? Well guess what... It's not going to be!" He growled menacingly.

"Oh, is that Shinko?" Rivera asked naively as she pointed to the scowling man. She looked at him for a few moments, as if analyzing his face. "I dunno... he doesn't look like an assassin... he looks like a pro racer, but not an assassin. Are you sure this is Shinko? And Romantic? What's he talking about? We're just friends, right?" She was still completely clueless. Everytime she was reminded that they had once been in love, she never seemed to be able to remember. It was as if it wasn't permitted to be remembered or something of that sort. She did, however, give a polite little bow to Shinku. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Shinko." She could at least have gotten his name right...

"Is this some kind of joke!?" Shinku shouted and lifted his hand to punch Rivera. The next thing that happened, a gun was in Shinku's face. "You better not touch her... Make even one twitch of your finger and I'll blow you a new hole to breath out of..." Kira growled. "Now then... You're a gentleman... I'm sure we can settle this without violence..." Kira said quietly, only to have his hand kicked away and when he brought his gun back up into Shinku's face, he had the barrel of a black revolver in his.

Rivera's eyes flickered, then suddenly turned red as her eyes narrowed and slanted. A whole new look seemed to overcome her, but it was a different sort of emptiness than her normal, naive one. A familiar but overwhelming energy force tore from her body with a force that could easily rip the two of them apart and render the entire bar motionless under its power. When she spoke, it was almost sad in its emptiness.
"I don't know why you'd want to kill me... but I don't like it when people hurt my friends..." Her hand was on the revolver in an instant, smoothly turning its direction back on its owner. Her other hand seemingly stood motionless by herside, but it was a caution for the future.

Kira holstered his gun quietly. "Now then... About that peaceful solution..." He said simply with a slight grin. "Alright... Tell her to let me put away my gun and we'll discuss it..." Shinku muttered quietly in anger.

Rivera blinked, and the redness faded from her violet-blue eyes. She did let go of Shinku's gun ... but not until she had forced his hand down and made him shoot every last bullet in it into the ground. "I'm sorry... but I had to do that, just to be sure. Too many people seem to find me as a fitting bullet practice target." She told him with sincere apology in her voice. "Say, Shinko, you race really well, how long have you been racing?" She smiled. Her mood change was unprecedented. It was as if she didn't remember anything that just happened.

"Listen... We all need to talk..." Shinku said quietly and motioned them over to a private booth. Kira followed, bringing Rivera along by her hand.
Kira and Shinku sat at the table in the booth and began something much like diplomacy. "Listen... I have no intention of spilling blood today... I just came here to watch a race and that was it..." Kira said simply. "Yes but I am the new head racer here... And my word is law to most of the race junkies here..." Shinku told him calmly. "Then why not settle our differences and give the junkies some entertainment at the same time... A drag race?" Kira suggested. "Agreed..." Shinku said and held out his hand to seal the deal. Kira took it and gave a quick shake. "Agreed..." He said simply.

"W-wait a sec! A race?!" Rivera chirped up. "And what differences are you talking about? What are we trying to settle? Do I get to tag along?" This was completely different from the old Rivera, who was serious and usually quiet. She wasn't quite sure what was going on... but she did know that there was running around on a path via motor vehicle and the first one to get to the line wins. She happened to have a modified Kawasaki 2008 that she was very fond of, but never really figured out entirely how to use.
Vesper almost seemed to know what she was thinking. "Do you want me to bring it over?"
