Skrae They may work for blood, but you had best specify from where it is coming and the quantity or you may end up drained... Best advice for working with demons is: DON'T! Why not?

because its more than most people can handle. demons are not cuddly like in inuyasha, this is the real world and unless you have every corner covered dont even think of sumoning one

Magical creatures are no different. Matter of fact, you shouldn't summon any magical being unless you have your "corners covered." This includes angels, faeries, even ghosts and animal spirits. That's why you never summon anything if you aren't capable of holding your own, magically speaking. But by giving fear to the demons, you make them stronger. Why is that? Because fear is in your mind. And so are the demons. You let fear in, you let the demons in. Respect them as far as magical creatures go, because they can affect your world in unforseen ways, but by no means fear them, because they are of you, and thusly they are you. I don't summon demons because I have no need to. This is not to say that I can't, nor that I never will. But again, any magical creature is dangerous, unless you know the proper way for dealing with them. If you don't, then don't think about it until you learn. If you do, then do what you will. And for the record, this world isn't as real as you think it is.

Well, that's slightly confusing...how is the world not as real as we think?
And as for why I advised for people not to, well, most people dont have back up and are completely unprepared to deal with what they summon...Not that I could either, but as general advice goes...

The ones he doesn't have covered, I have covered. rofl EDIT: Don't demons do a lot of killing on that show? well, yes but i meant the hot ones like the sesshy, who also kills alot..... well its just that alot of teenagers ive met who haves watched alot of anime think that thats how demons are, then they want to try to summon them. im not saying that all demons are bloodthirsty monsters, im just saying they probably arent gonna want to get married or cuddle up with you by the fire kind of thing

There's a deeper level of truth at work in the world that most people don't see. No, it's not something that comes with age, or some knowledge that you can buy. It's a spiritual truth, that is only attainable when a person begins to make sense of all those "coincidences" in their lives. No, I understand why you would advise people to not summon demons. Oftentimes, it's been my experience that when a person makes a comment like that, it's usually because they read it in a book somewhere, where some author, most likely a modern pagan/wiccan author, is harping about the dangers of summoning things. Basically, they know they know something, but they don't know what it really means, or why they know it. Seems unfair to judge everyone like that, perhaps, but one can never be too sure about these things. But one must also understand why a person would summon a demon, and for that, you MUST do ACTUAL research. Read many books and search everywhere.

Um...I just really have a warning to share if thats alright. I have been stalked by demons trying to kill me for a while. Reading about them only worsens the attacks because then, you're admitting to their existence, and they think they have a hand on you. So um...please....PLEASE be careful. *hugs*

Demons aren't something you should mess around with, they will do whatever is in their best interests. Its best to just not make yourself noticeable to them.
On a side note, I can't remember where, but I have heard that some demons will exchange a short term of their services for the ability to experience a human emotion, they may take your ability to express or feel happiness for their help. Not sure if its true, has anyone else heard this?

Shanna66 ok, now we all like to learn about random stuff. this weeks mood (or rather, my lifes mood) is demons right now does anyone have any good links or information? or even title of books? if so that would be great, thanks. so, discuss demons, what you think, what you read, anything i dont know about literature on demons, but i can see them. ive been able to se them since i was five years old. they appear to me.
