Zasz kept his face perfectly stolid, no emotion...
"My name is my own...i am known around the northern continents as The Black Swordsman....my power, i am a halfling, i am posessed by a powerful demon, a demon in which i control now, every now and then he tries to escape, tries to take back over...but i wont let him....i wont....i am a swordsman mainly, most of my power is in my blade, i have no real 'power' i guess, except flight, my wings come with the demon...which is why they are so black...and not gray as a fallen....my eyes change, right now, because of what happened to me...i was reaching my limit, and my eyes change with the amount of power i exert...Brown is human, Red is Demon, Yellow is pure...and white...is something i dont want to discuss right now...and any combination of are different levels of power.....so tell me...other than being an empathetic...what are your powers, and what is your name" Zasz keeps looking into her eyes, his ever changing, he cant help it. it just happens, he doesnt want it to, but it will anyway, he almost glares, not to be mean, but its as if he is digging deep within her soul, trying to figure something out about her.

Tsukai stood there for a bit, her hands crossed. "Heh." She smiled, wanting to laugh abit. "I'm Tsukai. Pleasure to meet cha'. As for my abilites..Well, I don't know if they're concidered powers, but it's apart of my species." She wanted to dose off to think about that, as many questions began to appear in her mind. But it was just that, he was still looking at her in the eyes, as if he was looking threw her. "U-Uh, well, you could say I'm partial demon. I'm a devil." She said, putting a finger on her chin.
"Don't make me say it again too. I don't exactly like discussing it to much." She said, closing her eyes with a sigh. "I would still love to know your name, I'm not exactly from...where ever you are from." She said, sweatdropping at the end. What was that place again..? ...Black swordsman? Tsukai sighed.

Zasz closed his eyes for a moment, they opened up red...
"my name is Zasz Decarte, and you being a devil means nothing to me, i have met so many it doesnt phase me anymore...you have no need to be embarassed about it or feel shamed for it...also, what is a power but an augmentation of the body, or the spirit, and it usually comes with your species, passed down from parent to offspring...some are like that, others are like me, who it was just tossed to...but i guess the gene has to start somewhere..."

Tsukai turned her head in confussion. "..Hur?" She questioned, trying to process everything that Zasz said. She shook her head, and looked at him with a smile, puting her hair back and putting her hands on her hips. "Nice too meet you, Zasz. I haven't exactly heard of a name like that before, I think it's pretty amazing."
She felt like pouting for a moment, but didn't. Instead just let a strand of her hair drop to infront of her face. "Pshh. I didn't say I was embaressed or shy or anything about my atributes. I love it all." She giggled. "So Zasz, tell me more about you. I mean, you don't have to. I have places to go if you don't want to stick around. You're the first person I met at Mirandal." She held her hands behind her back, and whent back to thinking about what he just said.

Zasz shrugs lightly and looks at her hard still...he cant help but try to dig deeper into her....
"I dont know what to tell, there is not much to me, i was a mercinary for many years, killed my share of people, many fathers, brothers, sons...to many, i trained for many years in the northern continent...its where i got this.." he pats the hilt of his blade then reaches into his coat....
"And this" he pulls out a small bottle covered with strange wrtting...filled with a strange clear liquid...
"I dont know what it is...and i have never used it, but i was told to keep it and use it when i know is right..." he puts the bottle back and looks at her in the eyes again...
"But other than that, i dont really have much to me.."

"Leave her alone..." Kira said quietly as his hand raised up slowly, materializing four circles of darkness around Rivera's body's hands and legs. The bonds were closing around their assigned body parts as he spoke, his eyes flickering red. "Rivera has her own rights, mind, and body... She can do what she wants on her own... Without your help..." He said quietly. "Now release her..." He ordered. He had saved Rivera once from possession in Ria, and he had saved her before period. He would never let Rivera do something unless she wanted, and couldn't stand someone forcing her body into moving when it might not have been what she wanted.

The dark voice uttered a harsh laugh. "So you do have some skills... congratulations on passing test number one. This is only a 5 point quiz... so don't get cocky." As she spoke, the voice began to fade away. "After all, if the b***h wasn't a weakling, I could've easily anihalated you. Study for your Final Exam, kid." Rivera's eyes changed back to a soft, baby blue color, her strength gone again, but rapidly absorbing the rings of darkness around her into herself. She didn't have a clue about what was going on. She didn't even notice that there WERE binding spells on her.
"Neh, what am I doing facing this direction?"

Kira's eyes melted back to their brown hue and he dropped his arm back to his side, releasing the binding spells as well. "Um... I dunno... You just turned out of nowhere..." He said quietly. His mind was riddled with thoughts of what had just transpired. What did she mean five point quiz? What the hell is going on ayway? He thought. He felt stupid not understanding what was going on. "So... Anyways..." Kira said idly, unsure of what to do.

Rivera's eyes sharpened to a piercing crystal blue. She threw out her hand and whispered a single word. "Scatter!" hundreds of light points flew from her hand, falling towards walls, snaking along them until they all met at one single point. At that point, space seemed to crack and fall apart. Only a dark, unnerving aura floated there.
"Your illusion is gone. Idiot fiend... I've been stalked all my life, what you did was nothing." Rivera muttered in her whispering voice. "Now why don't you leave me alone? I think I still have enough energy to flick you back to hell."
Little snowbird... don't try your father's face on me... The shadow hissed at her, The dragon kyn has yet to pass trial on you... whether you live or die is in our hands... and I will make sure that you die... As she shadow vanished, Rivera was left dumbfounded.
"... the dragon kyn..."

"What... Just happened?" Kira asked, as dumbfound as Rivera now. He could not understand a single thing about what was going on. But then again, he always found most aspects of life with Rivera confusing, so it was alright. As long as they found out who was trying to kill them, and made sure they killed them before they fell victim to an attack. "Rivera... Do you know anything about the Dragon Kyn?" He asked curiously.

"eh..." Rivera blinked several times. "I'm pretty sure that was just an illusion..." She turned around to Kira, "Dragons live in Kyns. A Lion has a Pride. A Bird has a Flock. A Wolf has a Pack. A fish, a school. A cow, a herd. Well, a dragon lives in a Kyn, with close family members over hundreds of generations, I think... I read about it somewhere." She thought about this archaic message. What did the dragons want from--
"Do you know anything about my parents?"

"Yes actually... You are the b*****d daughter of an Atlantean empress and a human half-dragon... What was his name... I swear you told me it a while back... Icaritus... Erride I think?" He said quietly, thinking deeply. Should I even be telling her this? Well... Actually... Yeah, I want her to recover her memory as it was... So... It's alright I guess... He thought.

"Oh crud!" Rivera's eyes widened in shock. "My case is going on trial in a Dragon Kyn's Assembly over an illegitimate birth?!" She stood there, silent for a long time. Thoughts began to fly through her mind, about what had really happened to her. Chloe had said that she would remember everything... so why couldn't she? She was supposed to know. Maybe Chloe lied to her to get her to cooperate? A daughter of chaos is a hinderance to Chaos herself. It would make some sense... "I don't get it... why would they want me dead? It's just a birth out of wedlock. If they really wanted it to be over with, why didn't they just settle it when I was born? This is... this is ridiculous!" She fell back against a wall, slowly sliding down until she was sitting on the ground, her silver eyes ridden with a contained fear that didn't show on any other part of her body.

"Rivera... Are you alright?" Kira asked quietly, moving towards her and sitting next to her. He noticed the fear in her eyes, he could smell it with his vampiric senses. "Listen... We need to prepare for anything... I'm sure you remember how to defend yourself from assassination attempts... Correct?" He asked quietly, his voice laden with concern.

"I... no, I mean..." Rivera stammered trying to remember. Slash... parry... lunge... sweep... "It's... coming back." Sidestep... crescent sweep... back hand chop... spinsweep... Everything else.
"Why would anyone assassinate me before the trial? That defeats the purpose of the trial." Rivera contained her fluctuating chaos and suppressed it beneath her will power. "If anyone assasinates me, that'll be after the trial, wouldn't it? And only if I win?" She asked? At least she didn't forget how to use her common sense.
"I don't even know what Draconian trials are like. They might do a test by fire and I don't know how to defend against that yet. Or they might try a test by wind... I don't know about this..."
