Kuro sighed deeply and closed his eyes, trying to think of something meaningful and important to ask, but failing. The two differently colored orbs opened slowly and Kuro simply asked one question, quietly. "What in the seven hells just happened, who are you, and what is wrong with Keila..." Every syllable was spoken slowly, calmly, and quietly, so she would hear everything he asked and have time to think during his question.
((Ummm... I guess this RP is at a dead end?))

Joy wandered into the Cafeteria on pure hunger alone. With her most recent book- this one about old-time Mythology, written by an insane historian of old. The book was leather-bound and quite ancient with yellowed pages and frilly script. The actual content was interesting and mind-blowing... if you could actually comprehend what was written under the old language and delusions of the old author.
If you were to follow the volume carried in her hand, you would see a baby-face porting a scowl framed by waist-length crow-black hair. Today it was swept back into a long pony-tail with two slim bangs falling from her forehead, an unusual style for her but quite becoming. Encased by her dark hair was a milky-white face, unblemished but for two patches of pink color flushing her fleshy cheeks. Her eyes stood out the most, piercing, cold and colored like a sapphire. The only evidence of her father in her. Her nose was arched and rounded at the tip, long but still one of a child-- more evidence of her baby-ish face.
She was clothed modestly. A silk black shirt enclosed her well-formed upper body and short torso, buttoned low enough to hint at woman-hood but not to entice sexual predators. Her pants were simple and black with thin white pinstripes embedded lengthwise in the fabric, making her already long legs even longer, but not increasing her 5' 3" height.
Joy Brushed her left bang behind her ear with a petite, manicured hand and proceeded with her tray to the food. She loaded on salad with no dressing, pleanty of fruit and two lenghts of celery. After arranging her food so it wouldn't touch she brang it daintily to the drink machine, grabbed a large cup and filled it with half sprite, half orange juice then brang it to an unoccupied table.
Setting down her tray, the young woman sat down and pulled a small red bottle from her bag. She twisted the cap off, let the red fluid flow into her drink, lifted it with another twist and then closed it and replaced it in her bag. She dragged her straw through the drink to mix it into a shirley temple and took a sip. After a satisfied sigh, she dug into her meal.

Duo walked into the cafeteria quietly, ready to have his first meal at the school. He wore dressy clothing, giving most people the impression he came from money or was rich, but he didn't much care, he didn't want anyone's attention anyway really. He usually made a fool of himself by stammering and many other things.
His clothing, which was expensive as mentioned, was a black suede jacket, black slacks, and a red button-down beneath the jacket. From the collar of the jacket, pure white bangs covered his forehead, shadowing shocking blue eyes which hid the true nature of their owner. He had thin lips beneath a decently shaped nose. He had a handsome face, but he usually denied it.
As he walked by the ID reader, he slid his card through and ordered a steak, medium rare with a small salad with Italian dressing. He walked by and grabbed the tray and a cup, and walked to the drink machine. He got a glass of cola and a straw and found a seat, and took his first forkful of salad.

Joy managed to tear her gaze away from her salad just long enough to see a fashionably dressed young male cross her line of sight. A small laugh passed through her baby-ishly round and full lips, quickly smothered by her need to eat. A forkful was just about to slip past her teeth when she noticed something odd from it's vibrations. Frowing she pulled it out and examined it.
The kantalope was old and mushy, not far from beginning to rot, but not quite there. The smell from it was so sickeningly sweet Joy almost gagged. It was far to gross to eat. Just before she flung it to the open trashcan a couple feet from her table, an idea popped into her over-developped mind.
Grinning in no compassionate way, Joy turned and searched through the waves she felt until she located the right ones. Imperceptibly, the young girl shifted her gaze to the white-haired youth. Carefully she adjusted her plastic fork in his direction and placed her left index finger on the tips of the prongs on the fork. Carefully she shifted through wind-currents, angles and force to make her directions perfect.
She drew back the top of the utensil, then let it go with a impeccably malicious face. The piece of almost bad fruit went soaring through the air to splat directly on the cheek of the youth with great force and much liquid splashing into the area around his head, getting on his shirt and in his hair.
Almost immediately after the impact, Joy had resumed stuffing fruit and salad down her throat, her normal scowl back in place.

Duo felt the piece of fruit splash across his cheek, pretty much exploding on impact. He grimaced and picked up a napkin, wiping off his cheek, thenwiped through his hair a bit. He then walked over to the girl, the only person he could find with a salad with cantaloupe in it, and spoke a few words. "Excuse me Madamouiselle... I have no idea what I have done to offend you..." He mumbled quietly, his voice accented by his french heritage. "But I am sorry..." He finished, waiting to see what she would say.

Joy turned to the boy, completely amused by his reaction. She put down her fork and looked the boy up and down with her blue eyes. They changed subtly, now dancing with amusement where before they had been as cold as ice. Joy shook her head and sighed exhasperation and folded her arms over her chest, crossed her legs and looked up at the boy, even though she remained sitting and him towering over her, she still managed to look down her nose at him.
"No no no, you have it all wrong my friend. You do not come over here to ask me how you offended myself, you have a couple options. One, get really angry, sputter, turn red and glare at everyone in the cafeteria. Two, put your hand to your face, look at the mess for a couple seconds then break down crying. Three, yell 'FOOD FIGHT!!' At the top of your lungs. Four, come over here, grab my collar and punch my lights out. Five, return the hit with something more slimy. That would be the normal responses of people who come to this school. I don't know if your reaction makes you more or less weird than the students here."
Joy was generally amused. She let her features go free of her constant control and a big, beaming smile spread across her pale face. Her whole demeanor perked up, making her look more childish by the moment, though her body proved her a woman.

"Well I'd rather not seem like a fool by sitting down and redoing this... But one question... Why would someone like you... Who obviously has better plans than starting food fights... Throw that at someone like me?" Duo asked quietly, not changing his expression as he spoke. He didn't like the way she looked down her nose at him. Or how she wasn't trying to keep the peace like he was. And besides... He had a policy about hitting anything that moved. He never fought unless he was struck and needed to defend himself.

Joy gave a half-smile at his mention of seeming like a fool. Quietly she mutterd, "too late." The girl managed to get through his small speach, succeding in only letting her eyes show mockery and a hint of a malicious smile play itself across her lips.
"How would you know if I had plans? Maybe I was simply bored and wanted to watch idiots throw colored nutrition across the room. This place needs a new paint-job anyhow." Joy looked at the plain white walls with disgust. She crossed her black-covered arms and stared up at the boy, a cynical moking look on her face, blending quite nicely with her baby face to create the image of an adorable bully who you could love or get explosively angry at.
Joy uncrossed her legs, picked up her plate, stuck her fork through the layers of paper in the dead center and with exact precision, threw it like a frisbee, letting it hit the back of the trash can so it could fall into the black paper bag. She turned back to the boy and picked up her Shirley Temple. After a quick sip, Joy smiled brightly and offered her name, "I'm Joy."

Duo looked at her with a strange look. One of interest, strange amusement, and sighed. "My name is Duo... It is... An interest to meet you Madamouiselle Joy...' He said quietly, unsure of anything else to say. He was extremely curious about the girl now, she was desirable, but she seemed to not want anyone's company and wanted to start fights. People usually don't want to fight a girl that looks like her. "Do you mind if I sit here?" He asked, knowing it was stupid to ask after what happened, but a little company couldn't hurt.

Joy couldn't help it. She couldn't. A Giggle escaped her lips, her eyes sparkled. If a simple word in a diferent language, even though perfectly understandable, could do this to her, she had been away from her mother too long. Celeste would have pounced on him and made him repeat it over and over again. The image was to clear in her mind, she could ignore it if it was happening, not if it wasn't.
The girl contemplated the pros and cons of letting him sit beside her. Deciding that the guaranteed amusement he would provide was better than the annoyance he would apply to her, she patted the seat next to hers. Joy tucked her bangs behind her ears once more with her petite hand, she wanted to be able to read his expressions.
After drinking half her Shirley Temple, Joy set it down and focused her sapphire eyes on Duo. "Duo, was it? Do you like to read?" It was a weird question, but it would be weirder to invite him to sit next to her and not carry on a conversation. Books were simply the easiest topic for her.

Duo went over to his table and grabbed his tray and drink, bringing them over in a few seconds. His face was held blank while he sat next to her, picking at the meal that had seemed so appetizing when it was warm. He nearly jumped when he heard her voice asking him a rather simple question. "Read? But of course... Poetry, novels... Anything that isn't boring research..." He said quietly. What he spoke was the truth, he hated research books, but loved anything if Poe was the author, or if it was a novel.

Rain stepped into the cafeteria and looked around...His amethyst eyes gazing around the room to try and find his master...But he didn't see anyone but a few of the students. He sighed and was about to leave when he heard his stomache rumbling abit. Rain blinked and looked down at his stomache..he was getting very hungry... He reached into his jean pocket and pulled out his ID card and headed over to the scanner. Scanning it he typed in a few numbers and went to the end of the counter to see his order was ready.
"Quick..." Rain said to himself quietly as he picked up the tray in his frail looking hands. He turned and looked around the room. He headed over to an empty table and took a seat and began to eat quietly.

Once Rain was finished with his meal he stood up and disposed of the garbage. Putting the tray ontop of the trash..he had to head back to the dorms before his master knew he was gone. So he turned and headed out quickly. Back to the dorms.

(( Not exactly. I need a filler at this point before I can type it up. XDD And I didn't know that whole long sentence was ONE question.. xP ))
She looked to him, still envious of the sort of freedom that seemed to eminate from Kuro, and then she took in a deep breath after he finished speaking, and then sighed herself.
"My name's Amber Elise, but you can call me Angel. My "real" name," she made quotation marks with her index and middle fingers on both hands, "as some like to put it, is De Atrum Angelus. No clue what it means. As far as I guess, it means, 'The Dark's Angel', but the language it's spoken in has meanings that are constantly changing and never written down. So.. basically, it's a long story about something which I don't fully comprehend myself anyway." she shrugged lightly, her eyes still nearly devoid of life. The only part that was was the part that was thinking, and the part that kept tears from rushing to her eyes.
"Keila's upset with me. I'm not supposed to be here. In a way, I'm shackled and chained to this stupid-a** temple off in the middle of almost literally nowhere by some stupid pact I made in that one language I talked about a minute ago, and basically it works like an Eragon book and that Elvish language. If you make a promise in my wierd language, it works like a magic spell and you're physically bound to keep it, or else." she looked up to him, smiling lightly as her hands began to shake. The smile was empty, her eyes were empty, and even her soul was empty... yet she still found a way to insert a half-hearted joke as an end point.
"And I didn't know there were seven hells."

Long apparently had been wandering the campus with a small backpack on and carried a rather grim looking face walking into the cafeteria. He looked at the rather odd looking machine and saw that a part sticking out mean it needed his ID card.
Sliding the card cleanly across the slot, he waited a moment then ordered, He had ended up ordering a rather large sum of food by typing in the numbers of orders. He ended up only ordering breakfast menu items and a large coffee.
Walking to the end of the tables, he received his plate of a large sum of food, and walked over to the countertop to receive his forks, spoons, and plastic cutting knife accompanied by some napkins. After receiving what he needed, he headed to the open tables with the skylight hanging over them to catch some rays from the sun and be by the wall mounted TV. Setting the tray down and pulling out a chair, Long sat down and pulled up to make sure his back was straight as he sat and ate. He watched his food for a moment and then reached over to his fork and knife as he cut into some of his 'mess' of breakfast. He quietly ate as the news came up and made it's daily run and announcements.
