Alcyone nodded, silently agreeing as she drank the beverage. Monitoring wasn't conducive to her peace of mind but she supposed it couldn't be helped. Shrugging, she walks out from the little stand and plunks herself in the sand, lying on her back.
Looking at Alex, she smiles, "That and the scenery is pretty."

He leaned against the bartop as he looked out over to Alcyone, and smiled. "Yeah. Back in the Philippines, there were lots of islands like this you could find. Just fly down, relax, do some fishing. It was really nice. Then again, I always enjoyed looking for old wrecks on some of those islands too. Lots of history out there..." He reached down to get himself a new drink and began to sip it.
"So, what did you have in mind now?" He looked back out at the waves, and tilted his head.

Alcyone nodded, "That sounds relaxing. I haven't been to any ruins or wrecks before, it must be a little ghostly. The story you don't know..." She laughed, "I don't think I'd be able to handle finding a human body there. Always been squirmish with that. The person still has to be kicking when I find them."
Her gaze returned to the ocean where it stayed for a few moments. Everything was so peaceful there. "You know, I think I'll stay and daydream for a little while. You're welcome to join me if you want. If not, then thank-you for the mini tour." She settled in then, resting her head on arms that she crossed behind the head to act a pillow. It had turned out to be a pleasant day, after all.

He smiled a bit. "Actually, I have to go check in on a few things. Take it easy, and hopefully I'll see you around." With that, he grabbed his coke, and made his way back towards the village, feeling a bit better than he had before. Things weren't great but life didn't seem so bad, at least for a while.
