Im comfortable in my own skin, but i think you blew off the possibility of a sex chane too quickly. You cant just say screw it im gonna stay a girl, any more than i can say screw it im gonna go straight. It doesnt work like that. I realize youve been giving this some thought, but a few weeks or months isnt nearly enough time. You need to keep on thinking about it for years in advance, and I know there's alot of things that could go wrong with the operation, but then again there are alot of things that could go right. The fact that you were even concidering becoming a guy to begin with, might mean that your body is trying to tell you something. So listen to it. You've only had a chance to hear the bad parts, but there are good parts too. So you gotta add that in as well. Its really good that you started thinking about this so young. When you get to the right age it will be much easeier for you to make the decision that will impact the rest of your life, good or bad.

When you get to the right age it will be much easeier for you to make the decision that will impact the rest of your life, good or bad. thank you!!.....i was wondering when someone would notice the positive points. its not that i was trying to blow off the possibility, its just i kind of need to tuck this thought away for a while b/c ive got too much going on in life as it is. of course ill still keep thinking about it. i obviously need to put years of consideration in it, but i know that for me now is not the time. maybe not to even time to think about it. its too hard too think clearly about whether im comfortable within my gender, when i KNOW im not completely comfortable with myself as a person. i really need to come to terms with some of the choices ive already made in my life, so i can begin to love who i am inside. then i can figure out if im comfortable with my genitals.

I hope you figure things out, I think that it'll take you years to actually make a decision, then even more years to figure out when to do surgery, if you're even going to do it..

It all really depends. you're bi, but you only prefer homosexulas. Not even straight guys who don't care?what ever you want. But becoming a man would only sove your male issue. Say goodbye to lesbians. But if you stay as you are, still now gays. I say either way you go, if you wan to the best in both you're going to have to tolerate hederosexuals and/or bis.

I personally wouldn't get a sex change, but when you are old enough to get it and you still want to change, you have my support and luv! Now, if something happened and I magically changed into a guy (think opposite of the Starlights from SMstars) at least I know that I will still be loved.

As a gay guy, I would say you might want to find a bisexual guy instead of changing who you are. No one will ever accept you if you''re willing to do something like that. Lots of bisexual guys would be willing to do a threesome type deal. Two bisexual guys with a girl...that would be kinky...but I digress...
You should always be happy with the way or person you are. Even if you get a sex change, you''ll never get over the fact that you''re a girl. It''ll be in your mind, eating at your heart when your with your partner. Find yourself without something as stupid as that.

i feel that this issue is too serious to be taking on a poll.. this is a choice that will for sure change your whole life and will put you through extreme times.. it is goign to eb difficult and expensive and painful at times.. but if YOU feel that YOU want this to happen and you are nothing less than 110% sure you want to be a man.. then i support you in this. but if you have any doubts.. find them before you cant go back. once you are a man.. you can never go back..
(thinks of the matrix..)

what's wrong just being a lesbian? I mean, it won't cost you money for surgery and doctor visits and such. That's what I think.

One of my friends just recently got her sex change. She's been thinking about this for a long time, and had been living as a woman for at least 6 months, taking hormones, and voice lessons and all. And I'm very proud of her. ^_^ But she's known since she was very little that she was a girl. She doesn't want anyone who doesn't know her to know that she was a man once, though, because she feels very ashamed about that, and feels like she doesn't want to know anyone who knows her past. We have a transgender man here too. Which means that he's living as a man, and has had breast reduction and some hormone therapy, but he doesn't plan to have a sex change. He's still happy to have some feminine aspects. I think he considers himself two-spirit, 'cos he has a bit of native american heritage and beliefs. But he's very open about his identity, and tries to explain to his daughter's friends and classmates about his identity and to make them more understanding. But he too has obviously been thinking about this for a long time.
I wish you luck in discovering who you are. I'm trying to do discover aspects of me too, but I think we all are. ^_^
