Janja glanced back at her sister with a smile, Jedi was right about that. They would learn more in the future, they had to- just like they'd learned about leopards. If there was something else to learn out there, Janja felt confident thinking they would one day find it. She didn't even consider the idea of not being able to know everything, right now it seemed entirely possible.
"That's right!" she squeaked happily, slowing down a little bit and moving to slow her sister down a bit as well, "Shh.."
They were just outside the clearing now, and no signs of wakeful family members could be heard over the sounds of the waterfall. Perhaps they'd gotten lucky and not been found out. Janja grinned.

Jedi slowed her pace following her sister's suggestion; probably a good thing considering her weight, she was out of breath from hustling. A warm feeling ran through her body; she was going home, before she feared for her life, and now? The little black lioness was going to be able to hear the sounds of her family snoring, especially her father, and she would be able to see their chests lifting and falling as they slept.
All thoughts drifted away from the leopardess, and started to focus on sleep. It was tiring work running into the jungle and then following her sister back. Janja really owed her one, but of course it was fun!
"I want to cuddle into Ekevu and fall asleep," she grinned lazily at her sister.

As if on cue, Janja had to pause the tip-toeing to yawn. Sleep was starting to sound good to the cub, and that was indeed an improvement since the insomnia is why she'd gone off in the first place. She smiled at Jedi and nodded before resuming her tip-toe towards their sleeping family.
"Yeah," she murmured, and flopped over once they reached the warm, fuzzy and peaceful bodies of their parents. Janja didn't move, but she didn't fall right to sleep, instead she watched Jedi with a smile on her face, "Thanks for coming with me."
Her voice was just audible above the sound of the waterfall and the snoring of the lone male in the group.

"No problem sister," Jedi whispered and slipped in next to her mother, feeling her warm fuzzy body against her own. It was comforting to know she had a large family to love her, even if she didn't know any other way.
The snoring of their father was even a comfort, with heavy eyelids and dancing leopards in her mind Jedi slowly drifted off to sleep.

Janja said nothing else, but instead smiled fondly at her sister. With a sigh, she glanced back towards the jungle thoughtfully. It didn't last, and she shrugged it off by snuggling closer to Jedi to finally go to sleep for night.
