Reyna simply smirked before glancing towards Athan. He was the business man, and therefore the one who usually made the deals. It sounded good to her! Particularly since the stones she had brought were absolutely gorgeous! Athan typically was gone for days, traversing all sorts of strange worlds to find gems of that quality.
"What do you say, Athan?" she prompted.
A slow smile curved at his mouth before he stood from his chair to offer Aki his hand. "Agreed. It's a deal," he answered simply, "And I would be delighted to do business again with you in the future, should you be interested."

Taking his hand with a smile, Aki nodded. She'd expected them to insist on one for one...it was kind of them to accept so swiftly! That, or she'd been dealing with sharks for far too long, and this was simply a lovely break in comparison.
Her smile, however, wasn't quite as easy as it had been earlier. "Deal. After you've made your selection, I think I may head home again...today has turned out to be far more interesting than I'd planned."
It was odd, having another consciousness waiting so closely. Aki felt as though a studio audience was at the edge of their seats, waiting for her to slip so they could all burst into laughter. Shaking the feeling off, she offered a hand to Reyna as well.
"Thank you. Both."

The demon shifted so that she was standing near Aki's side while Athan contemplated what gems to take. "Hey," she murmured softly as she placed a hand gently against her back, "It is strange at first, but you get used to it. And if you ever need anything you let me know." She meant it. She also felt bad that she ended up guardian. It wasn't something she viewed as being a bad thing, being bonded to a Shadow, but she felt empathic towards the other woman.
"I think I shall take these four," Athan spoke up as he laid out the emerald Aki had held up before, a rather unique piece of tanzanite, a large cut of citrine, and a small, but brilliant looking sapphire.

Aki turned to Reyna, lips parted. There was either too little or too much to say, however. Instead, she simply nodded...ears dipping as she smiled. The vague feeling hadn't vanished, leaving Aki feeling like there was something she'd almost forgotten to do, and it made it a bit harder to focus. "Thank you."
The stones Athan laid out, however, drew her attention back to the task. Coral raised from her shadow, the slightest bit, as Aki leaned forward to take a look. A wash of something akin to impatient jealousy tickled at the edge of consciousness.
"Lovely choices. Oh, I adore tanzanite. Such stunning colors!" The tickle became a surge, and Aki's brows furrowed.

Concern was written across the demon's face, but she said nothing. She had done all she could do to help Aki for the time being. Perhaps the next time they met, she'd have to introduce her to Mystic. Plan of action decided upon, she turned her attention back to business matters.
"And quite rare. It's one of my favorites," Reyna spoke up with a small smile.
"Huh. Thought mystic topaz was your favorite," Athan smirked.
The silver haired woman scowled. "It's one of my favorites," she grumbled before turning back towards Aki, "And what about you, dear? You certainly don't have to decide on what you want right this moment, but if you want custom work done, feel free to let me in on any ideas you've got. I handle most of that sort of stuff."

Smiling at the jab, Aki perked up and nodded as Reyna made her offer. "Ah, I'll get everything together, and jot down a few of my ideas. Is next week okay?"
Making sure Athan had everything he needed, Aki pulled her case a bit closer to prep it for travel. After a moment's consideration, she pulled out a large and lovely knot of green amber...handing it to the girls with a smile. "For Sam, if it's okay? Nisha has a similar one, though not green." Aki's first memory of Nisha included Samara just as firmly as it did Desperate...she'd always regarded the two as something akin to sisters.
Finally snapping the case shut, Aki smiled...knowing without looking that Coral had vanished once again. "I should go, but thank you for....everything." She nodded first to Reyna, and then to Athan. As soon as she met the man's eyes, however, Aki found her lips curving with a playful smile. Next time, perhaps, she'd get to know him better!

"Aww! That's so sweet!" Reyna gushed, dangerously close to being embarrassed by her own reaction but she honestly couldn't help herself where her daughter was concerned, "We'll have to stow it away in her treasure box at home, right sweetness?"
Sam cooed and gurgled something happily over at Aki in response.
Athan offered the woman a smile and walked with her towards the door. "Take care," he replied earnestly, "It was lovely doing business with you." He paused for a moment and took her hand before she could exit the building, "And do let us know if you need anything at all." He gave a faint nod towards Coral as to hint at what she might need help with before turning away with one last wave goodbye.
