That's the problem with having a reputation such as his. You can only keep it as long as you're not humbled by those you deem weak. Because once you lose it, you also lose your pride as well. "Don't even have to ask me" he said with a slight smile, he gave that smile because skyeheart was someone he could trust a real freind and for that he was thankful, but now he was anticipationg his match all the more.

" I need a drink," he said, and grabbed a whiskey bottle out of his coat. You will get your chance. " I sure hope so," He mumbled. He probably shouldn't be drinking that much before other matches, but he didn't really care.

Matthew sat in the lounge room and yawned lightly, feeling somewhat bad he was not able to compete in the tournament. If only his other duties elsewhere weren't so demanding. Perhaps next time he would have a shot at it. As for now, the fights looked rather interesting.

"Hmmm," he said, watching over the matches as well as noting the reactions of other people rooting for their favorite fighters. The more he watched, the more he pondered how thigns would have been should he have competed in the tournament.
That, however, wasn't his concern for now. His work within the FFA lands was dire, and there was another tournament coming soon in another place that he had to prepare for. For now, he would use this opportunity to educate himself further in the strategies of others.

I cannot understand why the let that weakling back inside again and again* Ali still satt in his seat, leaning it back on it's hind legs while resting his hands behind his head, Could one just take someone elses place like that?
No, unless his name had been signed on the paper then allowing him to fight would be unfair, if not everyone could barge in an say that they were fighting instead of those who had signed up.*
