Elysia Kavanagh Geneva had learned from one of the best - her brother. When she'd fallen ill, and become unmarriable, he'd taught her his own trade. To make her useful, he said. More, it was to try and make up for not being able to save her.
He'd taught her to price things above their worth - just in case she could get that much. But he'd also taught her that gypsies were shrewd, and likely to simply walk away if she refused a reasonable offer.
"Sixty would be fine," she said, nodding. "I hope you find good use for it." "Aye," Silver said, counting out the sixty couplets and handing them to the woman. "I hope that I may never need it." There were many other poisonous things to be wary of, and certainly her daughter was not one of them, but Silver couldn't help worrying about Aisrhan's future. The meij had a funny way of coming back to bite a person, so to speak. It was a question that had been plaguing Silver more and more since Aisrhan had attacked Vanna. The thought that Valelldia might be able to ease her worries had crossed her mind many times, but she wasn't sure there was actually anything Val could do. If the meij were to make it happen, what could any of them do? "Thanks." She nodded her head to the woman trader in parting and returned to Weathered Melody, where she intended to find a very safe place to store the antidote.

Elysia Kavanagh "Sadly, no, not that I can think of. The berries she was looking at cause an altered state of awareness, but... it is not for the faint of heart. Seeing others' motivations can be trying, at times."
She handed over the love potion, taking the payment from Caroline. "A medicines vendor has little to offer young children." "Thank ye kindly, miss. Perhaps next trader I'll find something that catches my little magpie's fancy."

"I wish you luck." She inclined her head in a parting nod, then went back to watching her wares. Wonderful doing business.

Elysia Kavanagh "Medicines?" She chuckled. "I have a mild assortment here. Medicines to see future paths, medicines to speak in other tongues, medicines to calm..." "To calm?" She suddenly looked down at Kala and smiled, at last... The thought went through her head like a sig of relief. "How much would you take for it? I mean, I could use a calming medicine rather desperatly!" She smiled and nodded he head softly, oh yes, this was good!

"It's sixty-five couplets, and has enough for maybe four doses. It should be mixed in with a drink or some food, or it may end up being too powerful..."
She picked up the little blue and green bottle, showing it to Heather.

"Too powerful? What could that do?" She had to ask before buying something, it could kill Kala and though the girl annoyed her greatly she wouldn't wish death upon anybody no matter what they were like.

"If you give it to somebody without diluting it, if they have a weak constitution, it can put them in a coma. It must be used carefully. I won't take any responsibility for what may happen if you use it unwisely."

She listened carefully and then nodded, "I will take it." She looked around in her pouch and pulled out the 65 couplets and handed them over. THis better work.

"Remember - mix it in with a full serving of water or at least one piece of bread. The more you mix it with, the further it will dilute it."
Geneva gave Heather the bottle, taking the couplets and putting them in her moneybox. "Use it wisely."

Marissa wandered up to the trader slowly. The dark circles under her eyes were a clear sign of her lack of sleep, as she had been staying awake most nights with Kale- or, rather, the Vulpes candle. She had been rather anti-social, lately; seeing the other gyspsies playing with their children saddened her. Her trust in the meij was great, but her worried mother complex was strong as well. She had the candle in her hands.
"Hello, trader," she said softly. "What have you? Medicines?" she glanced down at her son. "I don't suppose you have anything to free a baby from an inanimate state..." it was said rather drily, though the tone was not unfriendly.

Geneva shook her head sadly, with a curious eye kept on the woman. "An inanimate state? I should hope you're not asking if I can raise the dead...
"But no, I don't have anything of the sort. But I do have medicines that can reveal the motivations of others, show glimpses of the meij... and then, of course, simple healing salves."
She quirked a brow. "Would any of that be of use?"

"No, not at all," she said with a slight shake of the head, "The dead has nothing to do with this. My son, he is quite living. He's just..." she laid the candle on the table and showed it to Geneva, "Gone backwards..." She stroked her son sadly. "It's a...compliated circumstance," she said sadly.
"But, if it's any help at all, he was a fox, a tricky boy, but of pure heart. He was also susebtible to...certain wills..." she dare not say more, but could only hope that the trader perhaps knew something that could help him, now or in the future.

Geneva eyed the woman cautiously. With gypsies, fortunette children were normal. Yes... but in some cases, she had to wonder. A fox turned into a candle?
She pursed her lips, humming slightly. "Then it may be beneficial to be able to see your own future yourself... or to see the meanings behind the actions of others."

She considered. "I've got two banyas of my own in the wagon, though one does naught but find me coins...so I think I've got my fortune convered." The other description interested her. "But what is it you mentioned of seeing motivaion? What medicine would that be?"
