Hm. It's awfully warm for a moment. It's interesting. When Kelbesque is engulfed in flame, one would expect a person to become melted metal and ash after something like that. No, no. Not him. Kelbesque is the tank of the group. he can take more damage than a presidential campaign. He grunts as he gets up..dusting off his armor, which has a scorchmark on it now, but seems to have taken very little other visible damage. His head creeeeaks around, eyebrow raised behind his helmet. Yeah, he'd been wearing a suit at first, but it became his armor just like the others' armors were doing. The suits were just glamers, actually, but hey.
He takes off his helmet, and lights up a cuban off the leftover flames in the vegetation around..
"I do say, my good man. That wasn't right and proper now was it? Two against one? Although I am practically two men, really..Oh well, I suppose I don't mind. Just try not to dent the armor. It's quite expensive. Quite. I am General Kelbesque. And you two are?"

arrow Island 3:
Sam looks over at Mr. Fire. She's wondering who he is, too. It's not like she concerns herself with such things, knowing each and every elemental, even on Seafoam. Nevertheless, he used fire on her island! "I'm Captain Samus Joan Lovefelter. If you'd kindly give me a moment, dear." She gives Kelbesque a wink before turning to the man whom probably thought himself her savior. "Listen, torch. This island has vegetation for a reason! Either find a way to fight without fire, or get off!" Besides that... She glances at the guy proclaiming himself a general. He was an air elemental. Not good for flames to be carelessly tossed around.

"Oh dear. hell hath no fury like a woman who's flower garden has been burned. I'll do my best to keep the burnination to a minimum should flames come my way, miss. I am ever so fond of flowers, you know."
He lifts his hand, and surprisingly, a small butterfly lands on the end of his finger. Despite how crash-and-burn he'd seemed earlier, he actually appears to be quite a gentle man when it comes to wildlife. Now ********, they'll grow back. And there's plenty of them here.

Marcus. Whatever you do...run. Run away now! Sam's smiling. It's not that her smiling is a bad thing... It's the way she's smiling. If Marcus is sane or has even half a brain, getting the pedal to the metal might be a good thing. Oh! Before that, she does have something to say. She also holds a finger up a few inches in front of her face where another wisp of flame appears. [Dragon Element>Dragon Flame] "'might add' nothing! You can't manipulate this, can you?" It's a rhetorical question. It's a matter of fact that Marcus couldn't control the dragon element being a flame elementalist. Then she huffs a breath as she turns back to Kelbesque. "Besides." She pauses as a wisp of flame appears hovering over each of her fingers as her eyes glow the platinum color of Bahamut's scales. [Dragon Element>Dragon Flame] "You're in the way."

Kelbesque watches the exchange and says nothing. It would be rude to interrupt them, after all as they were compatriots, even if they didn't appear to agree with one another. Ah, such was life, was it not? He remembers a time when he and his supposed brothers in arms used to argue like that. Now, they were a unit that worked well as one. He takes a moment to pick a flower and inhale the scent of it through the small slits in his helm. Ah, what a lovely fragrance. It reminded him of the celestial gardens in the upper area of the Draygon Castle before the emperor fell to chaos.
Still, he muses idly to himself as he goes over past battles in his head. It's of no consequence, really. He stretches in his armor, and patiently waits.

arrow Island 3
Sam lets out a growl. [Dragon Element>Dragon Lore] She's telling the dragon-types in the area to keep everything at a safe distance. The Pokemon are kept back while humans are told to wait and watch patiently. They're near enough the Island 3 Research Facility for a few technicians with excellent hearing, like possibly some wind elementals, to have heard them. She's not growling at Kelbesque, but it might be taken that way. "Slim?" She bats her eyelashes and gives an almost childish look with the pout on her face. "You are going to tell me what brings you here, right?" The ten wisps of flame hovering over her fingers all go their own direction to circle Kelbesque. They effectively surround him. [Dragon Element>Dragon Ring]

"Hmmm? Oh, well dear, when you're quite through teasing, I suppose I can tell you. You remind me very much of miss Sabera, to be honest. She too is very much into pretending childishness when attempting to gain information or objects she requires for her purposes. I suppose it might work on most people given your natural attractiveness and coy attitude..however, I am a general, a man versed in the many arts of war. I must say, using such tactics on me to attempt to disarm me..is almost insulting. But then, you do not know me, so I will excuse it."
He brushes some imaginary dust off of his armor, and gingerly sets the flower back on its severed stem..and strangely, after a moment, a faint breeze blows the pollen around and seals the stem back into itself, making the flower whole.
"I am simply here at the behest of the Lord. Essentially, we are little more than distractions to all of you so he can do what it is he wishes to do without interruption. You are not interesting enough to him, so I have been sent to intercept you."

To Kelbesque's statement is a reward of a curious look. Oh? Then just who is interesting? Sam lifts two fingers to her lips, pursing lipstick against them. "Maybe I should stop playing around, then? It might just get interesting." She thrusts those two fingers towards him while blowing an imaginary kiss. If she weren't having so much fun, she might be taken seriously. There's that armor to deal with. Even if this next attack is stronger by a magnitude greater than fifteen, it's still likely to be child's play to him. As she gives Kelbesque a wink, the wisps of flame hurtle towards him. A simple wind barrier isn't going to stop them this time.
The next action would take careful eyes and prep work. Sam balls her right fist as her eyes glow the same platinum color of her Aeon's scales. Around that fist the air currents begin to move oddly. She watches how Kelbesque will react.

When those balls come at him, he begins to make a sign in the air..then it seems his attention is drawn elsewhere. He spins his head around violently, and his eyes grow large behind the helm, visibly so. It wouldn't take a genius to see he's in a state of somewhat visible shock. When the fireballs collide with him, he skids across the ground, but he doesn't bother to pick himself up. He just keeps his head turned towards island 1...where a black aura is forming around the entire island. From the inside, it's not really visible, but from the outside..it looks bad.
"No way. He's using THAT spell..? He'll tear this entire chain of islands apart, and carry everything and everyone on it to hell with him.."

Sam looks visibly irked. She partially releases the energy she was building before crossing her arms over her chest. She's not that uninteresting, and she knows it! Shaking her head, she looks over to the same general area he's looking in. That would be Island 1. Holding her left elbow, she uses same hand to rub the bridge of her nose in something like disgust before pressing a hidden object in her ear. One thing about technology and communications, things can be so small. "GRASC, give me a report on Island 1 of Seafoam Archipelago."
Sam lets out a heavy breath as she waits for a moment, still holding that pose that could be taken as thoughtful. Then she blinks. "GRASC? GRASC, respond!" She has a worried look. She can certainly feel something coming from Island 1, but she can't identify never having felt it before. Then she hears static and a different voice than she was expecting. "Nanimo? What happened to the GRASC system?" She pauses. "Merged with the OS? What are you...?" She pauses again. This time her face becomes flustered. "Fine... Keep me up to date."
Holding her forehead as if she has a headache, Sam finally looks at Kelbesque. "So what's going on? You got a friend in trouble, so you've lost interest in me completely?" She clicks her tongue against the roof of her mouth. She was looking forward to actually getting serious with her draconic energies for once. Besides. I'm not some weakling who can't tell you're strong, and whoever you're concerned over has got some power, too. Don't you dare go underestimating us... Sam takes a look between her Garden floating high above and Island 1. Are things going to get too dicey?

Optional BGM: Final Fantasy X - Auron's Theme
When the explosions come from Island one and bombard all the other islands, he was ready for it. He plants himself in the ground and surrounds both himself, and the woman, with a dome-like barrier of differing air currents; compressing the outside but cycling the inside, so both can breathe yet be defended. When all is said and done, he lets it fall and simply sighs..
"The Master's body has failed him. The truth of the matter is that you are an interesting woman. I can sense your inner strength. I apologize for goading you, of course. It wasn't very gentlemanly. Still, it's been a long time since the Master has used THAT spell. The power of that spell is legendary. Even the cast-offs of its power can annihilate entire cities. When I felt him using it, this game we'd been playing became irrelevant."
He sighs, and removes the helmet, revealing his features to be human, at least in appearance. He is an older man, perhaps in his late fourties, but that's not totally believeable. He has greenish hair with a white tinge.
"To be honest, I'd have loved a real battle..but combatants like us can't have serious fights this quickly. It could go on for days at our maximums. You've been a very nice woman though, and very considerate. I'm going to leave you a memento of our meeting. Don't be offended, but I have no choice; I have to go. Take care of yourself."
So saying, he puts his helm back on..and begins to walk off, taking the same route he took to get on the island. A little box is left as he walks off..well, not too little. It's about three feet long, and is made in the shape of an old pirate's chest. A gold lock in the shape of a dragon's head adorns the front of the wooden chest.

Sam just watches as he leaves. Kelbesque had defended her from something powerful; though, it was something she couldn't place. She'd never sensed it before. The Gardens would be safe. As he turns to leave, she has only one thing to say in response to his well wishes. "You don't go dieing before we have a chance to spar." As he walks away, she looks at the chest. He wouldn't go set a trap after all that, but she's not sure what the actual effects of that spell he mentioned are. Clicking her tongue against the roof of her mouth, she kneels down at it. She strengthens her defense with raw draconic energy [Dragon Element>Dragon Lore] as she admires the dragon emblem. "Good taste." Sam takes another look at Kelbesque, hoping he's not out of sight just yet.
Something he said. Could he read minds or was it fighters intuition? She smirks. She'd like to go all out sometime. She's not so amateurish to believe she could find sainthood in doing so. It's more like the draconic flow within her. She likes a good fight, something to stretch her wings with. Heaving a sigh, she slams her fist into the chest to cause the lid to pop slightly, basically cracking the chest open. "Let's see what kind of 'gift' such a group would leave..." She presses that nearly invisible switch in her ear again. "Nanimo. I want a GRASC report as soon as I'm back."

arrow Chest. Link finds...a ninja!
When the chest is fully opened it seems like the entire island is covered with a starry night sky. It's an illusion, but a complex one. Dancing around all the stars are constellations..constellations that represent every major dragon in every major legend. Once the stars turn a full cycle, the illusion fades, and the contents of the chest are made known.
First, a crystal ball on a mythril stand, the stand made in the shape of a dragon's claw. There are etchings, runes, on the stand's base, detailing how to use it. It's a history book. A history book about dragons. When one speaks the commands, one can cause the crystal ball and stand to grow to a larger size, about the size of a standard computer monitor, and it will project images based on what the user wants to see, coupled with information gathered from age old tomes. It's an Encyclopedia Draconica, essentially. The major ones are there..Bahamut, in all his incarnations..Fafnir, Tiamat, Midgarsormr, Rayqueza, even dracoforms that aren't true dragons, like Leviathan...all of them. It details habitats, histories, feeding and mating habits..tons of information that the god-king Julias has gathered on dragons in his time over many worlds. While still not truly complete, it holds a great deal of information. It even partially details the fabled 'Dragon' of Avalon.
The second thing in the box is a folded up cape. At least it looks like a cape. When pulled out of the box and really looked at, it's more like a cloak than a cape. It's gold, green, and black in color, and has pictograms of imperial dragons all along it. Instead of a hood, there's a dragon-shaped head covering similar to a helmet, yet with an opening for one's hair. It was obviously made for a woman. If one was to wear it, they'd find they would be able to extend their senses dealing with dragonkind across a much greater distance, as well as finding they exude an aura that commands great respect amont other dragons in addition to their own aura. It's a Mantle of the Sacred Dragon, one of the few of its kind, created by Julias for several of his former harem, who were dragons of the east. With their deaths, he had gathered them up again, but apparently has decided to bestow one on the Dragon Mistress. It also allows the user to use the spell [Control Weather] once per day, and [Weather Stasis] once per day.
