arrow tonight we dine...at applebee's
Ganale had been thrown free from the meteor when it impacted the ground, to land indignantly in a pile a handful of meters away. His ears still ringing from the blast of the explosion, he groped blindly toward the sky before sitting up and rolling into a half-crouch, half-kneeling position. On the radio he always carried on him, which must have been turned on during his fall, he could hear scattered communications going back and forth.
"-anyone out there?" "Marine! Fall back now!"
His eyes fell on his greatsword lying a short distance away, and he stood to retrieve the weapon, then sheathed it over his back before turning to see an incoming globe of light, looking startingly like a mortar round.
"Any sign of the General?" "Negative, Sarge. I think we lost him."
"Not yet."
He could hear the humming of whatever-it-was as it was getting closer. Lifting up his right hand, he formed an orb of Earth energy in it, then depressed his thumb down on its top as though hitting the activation button on a grenade, before rearing back and hurling the orb into the ground before him.
As soon as it contacted the ground, the orb blossomed and ballooned out into the form of a spherical dome of energy that surrounded the Earth Master. Even though it completely covered his form while standing upright, he still crouched and presented his left side toward the incoming object. [Earth Element/Skill Modification/Earth Shield]

arrow Hell, table for 300..
Well, it's a disappointment. There's no mortar..no, actually the light falls to the ground and blossoms into a chest. Like something out of Pirates. There's a gemstone shape carved into solid gold that covers the front of the chest as a lock..just like the others, same size, same make..and that's a lot of gold, just to keep a chest locked..

arrow reclaimer
As the light, instead of the dust, cleared, Ganale stood back up to his full height and looked out to see a chest sitting in front of him. Waving a hand, he dispelled the hexagonal brown haze of the Earthen shield, then stepped forward and inspected the chest, half-expecting to find a key to match that lock somewhere on the thing.
Failing that endeavor, he resorts to simply jiggling the lock.

arrow Link Finds...a Bike!
****** comes by and grabs it, riding off*
...***** stole my bike!
When jimmied, the chest opens, and a golden glow comes from it..that turns into a multicolored shine of lights. It's a rave! When the illusionary rave dies down though, the way is cleared. The first thing is a scroll. It has a powerful magick on it, and when read, the spell becomes part of the person's arsenal. The spell is [Stone Torch]. This spell targets a single enemy, and it does moderate earth damage and has a percentage chance to cause petrify status on them. Should the Earth Master read it in full, he'll have access to it fully.
The second thing is a [Stone Seed]. What exactly that does, is anybody's best guess. The truth is, there's no instructions on what to do, or what it does. All it does is radiate alteration and invocation spheres of magic. The magic is condensed, but highly powerful. Whatever it does it's gotta be epic.
The last thing is a silver cylinder with an activation button. Julias hates technology, and he had this thing laying around from a while back. He pretty much had thrown it into storage but after reading the beings here, he figured that the commander would like it. It's earth-green in color, probably done by Julias himself after the fact. Yep, it's a [Lightsaber].

arrow flamboyantly-gay caught an item pose!
Rooting around in the chest, he pulled out the scroll, sat back on his haunches, then unrolled said scroll and briefly scanned its contents. Nodding amiably, he rolled it back up and tucked it away for casual perusal later.
The stone seed came next. Quirking an eyebrow, he shook the object next to his ear like you would do to a small gift box to determine if it had inner contents. Then he held it up in front of his face and eyed it intently. Then he even gnawed on it for a second, before shrugging and pocketing it as well.
Lastly, he produced what looked like... Oh, no way. That's gotta be some kind of twisted joke, right? Very, very carefully, he turns the thing to stare into its open end, then points the opening away from him and shakes it like he had done the stone seed. Lastly, almost reverantly, he pressed his thumb against the obvious activation button.
And almost immediately, he snapped the weapon back off again, turning it over in his hands and staring at it in awe, a s**t-eating grin plastered on his face.
