Because darkness is generally associated with evil. Plus you have the whole Empire thing and how it's portrayed as evil. And the the Emperor and how hes a Sith Lord and how hes evil as well. It's an understandable asumption.

Resiment Certainly not evil. Why would you think they're evil? Have you seen three? If so did you not see Anakin: kill all of those kids unmercilously? And besides in 4 Vader just killed the piolit of Leia's ship. There are more example but Im too damn lazy to post them

Yeah, it kind of looks like my little brother whenever I give him a plastic lightsaber. xp Try having 3 little brothers, all Lord of the Rings/Star Wars/Harry Potter fans. Just imagine me getting beaten over the head with plastic light sabers, plastic "Sting" and "Anduril" swords, plastic broomsticks and wands, and real wands for that matter that your mom buys off eBay... gonk three of everything. That I get beat up with. A lot. Every day. And they don't even glow in the dark. mad
