Ipoku Narki ... Why get so worked up over Kairi, anyway? You don't see much of her in any of the games and seeing as Sora is nigh on utterly obsessed with Riku I can't really see any reason to get annoyed over the whole Sora/Kairi issue since that little love story isn't very credible to begin with. Mind you, I don't exactly like her either, but that's soley because she's a wasted character more or less. She lacks personality and although her role in the story is vital, you don't exactly see her do much. A few minutes in the spotlight and that's. She always gave me the impression of being "extra luggage", a character thrown in without much work given to her. Which is a shame, seeing as most other characters are actually pretty well thought-out and likeable. Conspiracy theory: In the final stages of development, some one on Square figured that an open homosexual relationship between Riku and Sora would harm the game's sales in the US and thus added Kairi without any effort put into her character. XD ... But seriously, I agree with you. That's the only logical explanation.

Torrina Shirogane ...OCs make Riku cry. gonk As far as Kairi goes...Meh...I used to become downright murderous whenever someone said that she and Sora belonged together, but now I'm just, like, "Eh, whatever." ^^; She just doesn't bother me as much as she used to, for some reason. Funny - I'm the opposite way. It's not that I hate her, per say... I mean, I wouldn't care if she'd just... go away, or something. To quote Stewie of Family Guy, "It's not so much that I want to kill her, it's just, I want her not to be alive anymore." In any case, I don't flame those that dislike yaoi unless they flame me first. And then I make a witty responce that makes them feel stupid. I must say I don't hate Kairi. When I am playing the game, I usually don't think of yaoi(unless it is AxelxRoxas). When I get on the computer, I think of yaoi.
But usually fanfics are put of wack with the story. They make no since with the storyline so I can easily seperate the two with my mind.
I don't have many friends that are interested Kingdom Hearts either.

I HATE Kairi. It's like a loathing. And most of my friends hate her too. And the ones who don't just don't bother me about it, because, well, though I can be even-tempered, I'm not always. It's usually stupid stuff like Kairi that makes me angry. evil

Yes, my own boyfriend loves Kairi. I hate Kairi so much, she makes me gag. I've already divised a plan to murder her... Me and Silent_Revolver. Kairi is useless, annoying, stupied, flat, attetion grabber, whinny, and just outright make me want to punch infants when she giggles. If anyone else has this problem with Kairi, add me to your friends list a.s.a.p.! SoraxRiku ^=^ (and AxelxRoxas)!
