Takkun Naota I think your really good ^_^ but i dunno where writers thingy is..so..i cant help ya ._. Just click the MAP in my signature... the one that says Headquarters on it... And Sailor, I would wait for a Poetry Contest (mine, I mean) unless the poem is long. Its so difficult for poetry to compete with prose, and that is what most of the entries this time have been as it was free choice. I have had three poems, nonetheless, so do feel free, either way, and even if you do not win this time, you could enter the same poem in a future contest. Okokok, don't wait!

Hey, I found a little poem that I wrote on the plane trip to DC we took on choir tour. I was inspired (even though it's not that good) sweatdrop whee
Up where the clouds dwell, above and below Landscapes spread out and twisted rivers flow Rising on high now, the clouds fall behind Seas of cream glide past, no earthly ties bind Layer upon layer of this glory Inspires on our way to tell the Story The ground peeks through when fair clouds chose to part Blooming billows cause praises from my heart
I like it ^^

Me too! You have such a gret outlook on life, and share it so freely. You will be blessed.

What an encouraging and nurturing spirit you have, Mahayr I am honored to make your acquaintence.
I adore words and the pictures they create I love the facinating journey they have lead me through I appreciate the friends they have revealed to me I cherish the light they have developed in me
I will search for the Writers Corner you suggested.... And though I may not post often, I vow to post original For here am I inspired and my vision rekindled heart

Rapture Sated and quiet is the night A brief break from the life fight Cloudy visions of past days Blurred lines of reality, nay Quiet rest, in the arms of a lover Murmurs of passion to each other Blinding heat, intense and pure Spirals in the stillness, but unsure Unconditional treasure, blessed kiss Come to me, I reach and miss Ripped, heart exposed, bleeds despair Holding tight to memories, laced with care Full and ripe, quiet is the night Seeping darkness engulfs the light Rest your head, sweet child, oblivion capture Sleep, deep and dreamless until dawn wakes-Rapture

Paranoid communities... devestated earth. Whatever has become of our planetary worth?
Inadequate dispersment, unfocased polaroids. Singing turns to chanting by robotic humanoids.
Are we just half-cocked crazies roaming through the sand - or fractioned visionaries forming a new band?

All my poems worth posting are sad, depressing things written in the dark by flashlight... Otherwise, I'd add to the little bit we have growing here *sigh* xd

Ok... But you asked, so don't crucify me...
Here is one I wrote in 7th grade... It's a little bit old, and not very good, but I love it because it was my first real poem and what got me into poetry... Defiance
I'll try and list my head up Cuz' I've learned not to cry I've learned how to banish tears And put defiance in my eyes
I won't be weathered down I won't stumble, I won't fall I'll push forward into that dark, dark night I won't stop pressin' on
You think I'm beat, I've gone to low You think you've worn my down But I'll rise back up and I won't stop 'Til you're the one on the ground
I've put a shield around my feelings I have a shell to hide inside I'll cover my eyes with a baseball cap So no-one sees the fire alive
The sun falls low in the evening sky And my red-rimmed eyes look up But there's defiance in them I haven't had enough.
This one was done more recently... Who would guess, I wrote it attempting to get over this guy I liked... rolleyes Ready to Walk Alone
Beautiful through her pain, Deglected through her defeat, Trying to see clearly through the tears, Wanting so badly to please, Those who had caused her fears.
Standing up tall, Wearing a worn-out mask of a smile; She knows its been a while, Since she could open up and live, Through the deceit.
Appearing so frail, delicate, So easily broken, Inside she's as tough-as-nails, Preparing to live alone. Wondering if she'll ever be free,
To fly, to soar With wings of her own. She'll be stronger, older. Her trials will've helped her grow And she'll be ready to walk alone...
This is.... Just one I wrote searching for meaning, I guess... Puzzle of Life I don't know This gap in my heart This confused air around me This mistake I've made... ...I make None of it fits None of it clicks together It... just... doesn't work I don't know why Maybe it's just me But my puzzle of life is boring Yet confusing And it's missing all the pieces... All of them
