Tree_Beatle_Maiden ToxicHobbit I grew up with my parents listening to pink floyd; Dark Side of the Moon was the first C.D. I bought. I liked Animals best, though. it is a very progressive album, and fairly strange to boot. yeah, I sport pink floyd cloths, most are pretty beat to death now, like the Dark Side of the Moon t-shirt I wore for a few weeks straight gonk That's great! I grew up with my parents listening to excellent 70s and 80s rock, so I find I have a hard time getting into anything else. Pink Floyd is my favorite band; Dark Side of the Moon was the first CD I bought. I also have Wish You Were Here and The Wall. I haven't really heard any other albums, but I'd love to get to know each and every one. It's hard to decide on a favorite... they all have their own differences to love and enjoy. 3nodding heart (Yeah, my Dark Side of the Moon shirt is already fading and has a few stains on it too. stressed ) yeah, the wall and wish you were here are really good too. i liked Wish You Were Here better than The Wall, though. I dunno. my Dark Side of the Moon t-shirt has a lot of stains in it. grease stains, holes virtually everywhere, its very hard to make it look clean rofl

Pink Floyd for me is the owner of one of the most loved experince i ever have feeled. I was only 5 years old, back then in 1989 then my uncle invited me and my parents to germany and see the wall fall, at the same time we got tickets to Rogers Waters - The Wall live in berlin, i can still remember it as it was yesterday and io'm so happy i was there.. now that i'm older i listing to PInk Floyd with deep respect and honor.

Recently I've been a lot more interested in Syd Barrett's Pink Floyd, and his solo albums. Pink Floyd was a lot more psychadelic in their earlier days, and Syd Barrett's lyrics were a lot more fun than Roger Waters dark lyrics.

Has anyone else synched up dark side of the moon with the wizard of oz? its really cool. my favorite part of it was during money when they say "don't give me that do goody good bullshit" and glinda comes out xd that and the tin man song at the end of the album and the heart beat thing starts when his song does.

I've heard about that but I don't have a copy of The Wizard of Oz so I've never gotten to do it. *writes down Wizard of Oz on her 'To Rent' list*

It's at the very end of the movie when she wakes up... so yeah, it's after the first time through, I couldn't remember how many times the record plays through...

Has anyone else seen The Wall?
I just watched it a few nights ago. Totally amazing. Loved the first part of animation especially where the bird explodes and turns into that huge dark machine one.
and then there were the flowers...

Pink Floyd is one great band. I have some of their songs on my phone. Once it went off in class. Can you picture any funnier place to hear "teacher's...Leave them kids alone!"
