It has already be said by the Admins that Monthly Collectables can not be used as weapons in the battle system
It gives an unfair advantage to those who bought them back when they were cheap, and now cost so much

haha I suggest everybody start saving their gold now, even though BS won't come out anytime soon. xd Rings are gonna sell high.

They said that the donation monthly collectibles CAN be used as weapons. But instead of the weapons determining attack power and other stats, rings will effect your status. So the weapons/MC's/and whatever else is released, will just be for show.

Indeed ~AngelF!re~. It will allow for the creative Avatars, that is Gaia's main feature, to exist in the Battle System without having player appearances that are all copies of each other. Certainly you will see many common appearances, such as ninjas or cos-plays but we see those around Gaia already.

but how much ability do rings give you?
