Oxymoronic Username There's a billboard down in the Volunteer state that says, "Aborting stops a beating heart" or some s**t like that. If there wasnt' a forest around it, I would've burned that sunovabitch to the ground. Or get a larger billboard with a coat hanger painted on it that states in big red letters, "NO MORE", or something to that effect. Yet another problem that can easily be solved with the use of an axe. GreenSouthpaw Yesterday we went to a petting farm and a car had an "abortion stops a beating heart" sticker on it. Well, war stops hundreds of beating hearts, I don't see people making that illegal... *cough* We're in the thousands, now. "But war is justified because it protects our freedoms!" Well, dipshit, so does abortion. WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!

I've never seen them. Where do you guys live? Only Florida? I'm in NY.
You can't do that legally. That would be along the same lines as teachers who tell their students what they believe to be right (which is seen as a bad thing to do since as kids, we had no orginal thought and would only believe what we were told to believe). If that's seen as amoral then this has to be.
I can imagine what they have on these commercials.

You need permission from congress to engage).

Kukushka misplaced_left_sock While driving on The hain highway is inda inevitable. And I have to see those ******** billboards. You can close your eyes! And if anyone asks you why you crashed into that car, you can always say "Well, sir, it was the pro-lifers' fault, sir. You see, their billboards gave me roadrage and distracted me from my driving. Really, the only way to prevent more such collisions would be to take them all down, sir." Pro-lifers have caused car wrecks before. Mom and I were going through Dallas one day, and we saw all these people in the far right lane slowed way down, and people with signs on the side of the road. Turns out they were pro-lifers having a demonstration in front of their church. People were slowing way down partly to see their signs (nothing gross, just slogans), but mainly because they were pretty much leaning into the road to show their signs. Mom narrowly missed hitting the truck in front of us, and we got rear-ended when she slammed on the breaks. She got out of the car, and instead of yelling at the guy that hit us, she started yelling at the pro-lifers. 4laugh They deserved it too. We were kinda pissed that they offered money to the guy that hit us later and wouldn't talk to me or mom, even though I had whiplash pretty bad, but I guess we deserved it for her calling them a bunch of idiots, and some other not so nice names. On topic, I haven't seen the ads, though you'd think I would considering that I live in Texas. But then, I don't watch very much TV. Perhaps I'm just not tuning in at the right time.

I hope your mother sued them for obstructing traffic and causing an accident, the guy in fround for not paying attention, and the guy behind for hitting you and causing you to have an injury.

She didn't, but she complained loudly to the cops when they got there, and the protesters broke up before we left the scene. She wasn't mad at the guy who hit us, because the wreck wasn't even really his fault. She stopped short to avoid hitting the guy in front of us, and there just wasn't time for him to stop. Also, we drove away with a dent in the trunk, and his car was totalled. I think she thought that was punishment enough. We were just about to move away when this happened, so that plus just finishing a major lawsuit probably left her not wanting to go through the whole process of suing anyone again. And as far as I know, there weren't any medical bills that our insurance didn't completely cover, so even my injury didn't set us back.

Plenty of things stop a beating heart.
And abortion doesn't necessarily stop a beating heart every time. The heart doesn't start beating until a certain point in the pregnancy, I'm sure. You could always get an abortion early, so yours doesn't stop a beating heart.
Defibrillators can stop a beating heart, we should stop carrying them on airplanes. One old man has a heart attack, he had a chance to live. But if there was a terrorist, democrat, or pro-choicer on an airplane, they could just grab it and zap a pregnant woman with it. You see, the dangers outway the benefits.

Most women don't know they're pregnant at 7 weeks gestation, unless they underwent IVF.

These things don't really hold much significance to me. The times when I really get upset over the death of a stranger is when they had family who really really cared about them.

I get upset about all forms a death.
Abortions are the only thing off the top of my head were I would allow something to die. I'd still be sad about it though.
