I was in my classroom. I was only in 4th grade. I didn't even know about it, until after school when my dad picked me up.

I was in 5th grade when the towers hit. I remember alot of people were being sent home early and they didn't know what was going on and they started crying.
When I went home I ran to my mom's room to see if she was fine and she said that she took the last train out of the twin towers before the first plane struck.
Also when my dad came home from New York he said that he got really lucky because usually he stops by.. I think the Verizon Office in around the 64th floor alot in the morning but the traffic was really bad and by the time he was 7 blocks away, the plane already struck.
My parents are very lucky.

where was i where was i.....
ok i think i was in 6th grade when this happened... i can rarely remember but i remember i was at home, watching tv, it was after school i believe. until my dad came in and turned the channel and BOOM there i saw the plane crashed right into the tower right on the news right when my dad turned the channel on me. eek it was scary cause then i saw all these people running and fire flaming up in the air and me and my dad were just standing there watching it...
a year later on the 9/11 and staying up at 11PM watching this episode they made of the 9/11 and the people telling their side of the story when they were in the building at that time....

I was a grade fiver. At the time I didn't know how tragic it was, So I was watching TV and wondering "why are all the channels showing the same thing" And then at school my teacher explained that it was a terrorist attack so we signed this banner to send to kids in New York who lost their parents in the attack, and we had to donate money to them.

I was in the 4th or 5th grade and we just got inside after recess. I felt like something was wrong before that.. it was weird. The teachers huddled my class together and read a paper about what had happened. Then once I got home I saw the planes crashing into them etc. I was young and didnt really fully understand what happened. & I remember us before we all went home.. how we though how it would be if someone blew up our school. So we wouldnt have to go anymore.. gosh what crazy kids we were! XD

I was in 7th grade...in history class, I believe, when the principal comes on the intercom saying "You're safe here, don't be afraid, etc." I was all "???" but no one would tell me what had happened. I didn't find out until I got home later that day.
