Ranu nodded to Captain Storm. "I would be honoured" he said, then glanced at the ship, "A question" he stated. "Why is it blue?"

Storm shruged.
"I have no earthly idea. 'Twasn't my ship to begin with."

Kibo: That's the color Sir Tiny wanted for his ship. It actually blends in very well in the open ocean. You'll see.

"That would explain it. But we should repaint the bottom a lighter color. Grey perhaps...So have you found me a crew yet? I'd use my own but the Runner is out in open seas at the moment and Hantore would be mader then a starving Goblin with food just out of his reach."

Ranu cracked hus knuckles, "I'm sure that I can help there. In the Royal Navy, we tricked people into taking the Kings shilling, can't we do a similar tactic?" he shrugged, "kidnap them and make them work?"

"We could, but we won't. People will be hired on of their own accord with full knoweldge of what they'll be going through. The Wars haven't been kind to me and neither will I be to you. If they bring a slave along with them, then that's their own buisness."

Kibo: Unless, of course, we take over another ship. All survivors will have the choice to ether join the crew, or be taken to Tortuga, and left there. I often find that the second choice is rather funny to watch, since many of the "nobles" would be utterly amazed by the... moral center... *chuckle* ...of Tortuga.

"But of course it is. Some just can't seem to comprehend the fact that their world isn't perfect."

Ranu smiled slightly, lowering his head. "I was left here. I was shocked at first, but not for long. Little really shocks me." he looked up and out to sea. "Perhaps theres people here thats willing."
((Couldn't we NPC crew until we get joiners?))

Kibo turns, and walks to the side of the boat, leaning out, and staring at the silhouette of Tortuga. He leans in silence for several minutes, before chuckling slightly, and turning back to the others.
Kibo: People want so badly to believe that they have control over their entire world. Whenever something out of their control happens, they fall to pieces. We who know how to deal with tragedy are called "scalawags." All of us have had something bad happen to...
He stops suddenly, and looks confused.
Kibo: ...the hell? Did I just say something deep and insightful? Woah, I'm losing it. We need to set sail before I go insane... again. Would you rather me stay, or return to the Godspeed, Storm?

Ranu nodded, "My father used to own a small boat, built to mimic a war ship, but alot smaller. It worked much the same, so I can cope mostly." He decided not to add that the ship had sunk while he'd been out alone, although it wasn't his fault. That battleship SHOULD have heaved too.

A small bird flies over Ranu's shoulder and lands on Kibo's. Kibo smiles knowingly at Ranu, shaking his head as he chuckles.
Kibo: Well then, Ranu, where is this "battleship?" You shouldn't keep anything secret from your captain, you know.

Ranu laughed, "I've got no idea where it is now, I just know the captain crushed my ship when I was 15."
