Brice took the offered beverage and food, and shipped the iced coffee in question. Perfect.
"One can never have too much ice." he said, his eyes drifting to Shiyaa's adopted son. It reminded him of his daughter, who was suppose to come see him sometime this week. He doubted it though, her mother was always saying crap and never doing it. Though one of these days he was just waiting to come home and find his daughter sitting outside his appartment door with a tiny backpack, and no mommy around. The stupid woman would do that to him.
"Keep the change, it weighs down my wallet." Brice added, nodded to Shiyaa's outstretched hand with his change. Granted he liked having money, but change was too bothersome to keep.
"Cute brat." he said lastly, turning to exit the store. Sitting just outside, Brice picked a spot against the wall to sit down and enjoy his cool snack.

Gervain succeeded, as he always did, in pulling his partner out of the small shop and into the cold. The boy instantly began to shiver, even all the layers he was wearing not enough to keep his petite frame warm. "Ger..." he mumbled slowly, looking up at the other with pleading eyes. "Ger, it's cold..." The ebony-haired man paused shortly, barely long enough to glance back boredly at the other, before removing his own scarf and setting it around the other's neck. It wouldn't do if his other half died simply from cold. The boy took it greatfully, wrapping it carefully around his neck, and then, slightly nervously, he asked, voice slightly muffled by the scarf, "Neh... where are we going...?"

Kiyo gave the man a questioning look as he left, the looked at the change in Shiyaa's hand. Shiyaa smiled, handing the coins to Kiyo, who pocketed them immediantly. The child liked shiney things. When Brice left, Shiyaa shivered a little as the door opened and fetched his gloves. He mentally cursed winter as he began cleaning up some coffee he had spilled earlier that day.

After buying some food, Cameron went to a small corner by the fire, put in his earphones, and started to listen to music (The Academy Is... if anyone's wondering) while eating and watched the other customers.

As Kalen started walking back toward the entrance of the coffee house, he stepped to the side when Gervain walked past. He paused at the door and turned to put his gloves on. It was then that his eye caught the young boy he had been sitting with showing familiarity to the dark-haired man. Odd. Could that be his partner? Kalen shrugged slightly and pulled his other glove on all the way. With a parting look of irritation shot at Skyy, he stepped out into the cold once Gervain and Shadi seemed to be heading toward the door. It seemed the only way to avoid them.
Despite his rejuvenated body heat, he felt a very uncomfortable winter wind seeping through his layers. Kalen walked about a block before he decided perhaps a taxi cab would be more efficient. Blue eyes darted around in search. He stood on the curb, watching traffic.

Ger smirked and said, "Don't worry over that, Singer*." Shadi flinched slightly at that last word. He hated it when Ger called him that and Ger knew it. Why... why did Ger always try to hurt and tease and torture him? It just wasn't right. Then, as sudden realisation hit him, Shadi stopped stock still in the street. Quick as anything, he turned and bolted towards the coffee shop, his expression frantic. His backpack... where was his backpack?! He couldn't go anywhere with out it. It just... it wasn't safe!! In his desperation to reach his bag as quickly as possible, he bumped into several people along the way. As he entered the shop, he was followed with verbal assaults. Gervain hadn't even had time to stop the boy before he had left.
He reached the shop and went isntantly to the couch. His bag... wasn't there. He let out a small cry of desperation and he began to tremble, his paranoia instantly sending him images of his bloody demise without words. He began to search frantically through the shop, but for all his effort, it remained hidden.
((EDIT: "Shadi" is an Arabic name that means "singer."))

Brice was just going to take a bite from his muffin when a flash of... he guessed a person zoomed by him and back into the coffee shop. Making an odd face, he leaned over a bit and turned to look inside to see what was going on. The flash in question was a young boy who seemed rather frantic over something.
Even though he wasn't fond of the heat he was curious, so sipping from his iced coffee cup he got up stepping inside again. Coming up behind Shadi watching him for a moment before he said anything.
"Missing something?" Brice asked, sounding like the typical passer by who really didn't care but liked to be noisy just the same. Which was pretty much how he was.

Shadi jumped at the sound of a voice from directly behin him. He turned around hastilly, face flushed from running. "Eh...?" He was painting slightly, having obviously run quite fast. He then nodded, his blue orbs flashing desperation. "Y-yes.... My... my backpack," he studdered through heavily falling breath. "It's missing..." His eyes seemed to plead with the other - almost as if Brice might somehow just happen to have the boy's pack. It was obvious that this item - or, rather, what was inside of it - was very important to him.
Ger didn't bother to reenter the shop. He smirked slightly and shouldered the boy's backpack, heading off back home. THe other would come to him, desperate, and he would give him the pack... eventually.

Kuno walked silently through the streets, reading the epic poem 'Dolores' by Algernon Swineburne. He wasn't watching where he wa going as he crossed the road, nearly getting hit by a bus. He then proceeded to walk to a coffee shop, and walk inside, still reading, not looking up from his papers. He nearly ran into two people, stepping aside at the last moment. He then walked to a table and sat down and waited, still reading.

Shiyaa walked over to the table Kuno sat at, looking over briefly at his son as he walked. He didn't like leaving Kiyo alone since the child hadn't been living with him for more than a month and half. He wanted the boy to feel loved and safe.
Pushing these thoughts out of his mind, he focused on his job. He smiled at Kuno, " How may I help you, sir?"

"Umm....What'cha got?" Kuno asked without looking up from the poem he was reading, his free hand moving to his chest to fidget with a chain that held two dog tags. "Maybe I could do a job for you?" he asked softly, the heat around his body increasing slightly.

"..a job?" Shiyaa gave him a puzzled look, " If you mean here, then you'll have to ask my boss...." Shiyaa went quiet as he felt the other's body heat increase.
Another Pyromancer.... He smiled a little, liking how warm it was now, " As for what we have here, we have a variety of coffee, hot or cold, as well as pastries and breakfast foods, like dounuts and...wait, here.." Shiyaa fetched a menu, smiling more, " The menu will be able to tell you better than I can."

"Do you have hot chocolate?" Kuno asked hopefully, looking up now and into the other's eyes, his own pale gray eyes catching the light and appearing to shine faintly

"Of course! With marshmellows and whipped cream, or without?" He asked, tucking several strands of his long hair behind his ear as we began writing down Kuno's order, " Also, would you like anything else with it?"
