So Trei's ironically named "T Virus" had completed a lysogeneic cycle instead of a lytic one. Not that Shagrath was one to complain since he didn't know about that anyhow. As far as HIV getting HIV, it is possible considering there is more than one type and strand of the virus, but again that point is moot since all of Trei's powers have thus far manipulated blood to such a high degree so any possible damage from Shagrath's blood would be non existent.
With no apparent effects taking place Shagrath would have to tip his metaphorical hat to Trei in regards to his power and control. However Shagrath knew how to use those powers now, not at Trei's level mind you, but he could manipulate his own blood when he got some. That chance was looking slim though.
With some new demonic attributes Trei might notice some changes in himself. The first being that his darker side begins becoming more dominant. As with all who decide to take on demonic traits their body is changed forever or until all traces of whatever they used to gain those powers is removed. What would Trei become? He had just become a mock sire of one of the most powerful demons in existence.
With an orb coming in for his rather useful mark and no blood left to make a new one with his vampyric flame aura already taking effect and Trei about 50-75 feet away there was the most minute window of time to turn this around...Shagrath was not one to go through windows.
His life support in question was the power inside his body keeping his vitals intact, this mark simply allowed those reserves to not be so strained so Shagrath could have more time to try and get enough power into his body to regenerate his blood.
Still, with maybe a second or two tops Shagrath acted with what little he could while keeping enough power in himself to stay on "life support" in typical "Bishie bad guy being sexy" fashion. As Trei got closer and closer, Shagrath's penetrating ever-hypnotic stare would have a greater effect from the closed distance. Since Trei had been looking at him for a rather long period of time while constantly receiving rather subtle hypnosis to get past any mental defenses and into his mind there was a rather good chance of short range hypnosis working, if only that orb wasn't being used.
Trei's right arm was useless from his earlier attack and as all usages of power do it still had a small trace or signature of the user. Vision was useless.
He shot his flame off letting embers and trails of flame sink into the fissures in the earth to bring him power later once a source was found. Shagrath just sighed and closed his eyes with a not to noticeable head drop as he made his decision. It was time, to long had he been like this. It was time. Time to be true.
Not now though, not until the final.
Shagrath's eyes snapped open as he let it all go, most of it anyhow. That right arm, a signature was there, however faint it was it was still useful. He had the power to kill three men to use, but instead decided to use the power of two and a half on Trei. That useless arm, fester, corrupt the rest of the body with rot and infection, and take life to give to another. The last half? Move the earth. Six inches in front of his mark five four inch darts of earth, crudely shaped, shot out to meet the orb a few feet away. Not to stop, but set it off away from his mark, the vampyric flame was still gathering and making it's way back. Just a little longer, not going to revert now.
Inside himself opened a door to the truth. Where his shoulder blades were under his long coat began pushing out in an odd triangle point, one for each shoulder. Nails grew a little longer and started curving downward ever so slightly, on his forehead near the temples two small bumps began forming, and in the seat of his pants something else was moving, but that could just be that Shagrath was getting excited and had "tucked".
As for Trei's decryption? When Shagrath had injested Trei's blood earlier he had taken about ten drops of blood with him. Five of those drops had been broken down into various proteins to give Shagrath a biological and magickal overview of Trei and his powers.
With the final piece revealed Shagrath further broke the proteins down and sent them to his heart to reform under his influence. Blood. Shagrath had blood again. Only five drops of it, but it was better than having to make it from scratch. A single heartbeat sent three of the five into his bloodstream. From there his cells began multiplying and dividing as his remarkable regenerative abilities took effect. He would have his blood back in a few minutes, but still needed the life support until then.
What was time to an immortal though?

my previous posts ...So, grimacing, he opens small holes all along his right arm, allowing the already-deadened blood to shoot forth in fire-hose like streams, releasing the pressure in his body through a controlled explosion of blood... (Would the Trace of your power still be there if all the dead blood has been expelled, thanks to your own expulsion and the bond?) ...As it is, Trei faces down his opponent, shooting the man a roguish grin before holding his newly replenished right hand out to the side, palm up... (this same palm that formed and threw the "Grenade") ...Trei charges forward, using his own throwing motion to lead him into a charge, as well as get his hand on his left-waist katana... (Left waist from the throw indicates right hand again) Hypnotism... very cool. Unfortunately, two things stand in the way of Shaggy's bishie-badness. One; Trei is focusing on the demon's body, not his eyes. As I previously stated, Trei is charging forward for a finishing slash, aiming to sever Shagrath's upper body from the chest up; so, then, why would he be watching Shaggy's eyes? Also, there's the little problem of giving the Dark Psyche more power. Trei is still in control, partially... but now, the most primal bloodlust of the Blood Elemental is gripping him, and his more coherent thought processes have given way to an almost berserker-like state of battle-euphoria. The roguish grin that so often crosses his features has given way to a feral smirk, like that of a wolf that has cornered its prey... Also, with the blood elemental in control, the portion of Trei's blood that Shagrath ingested is once more a weapon for Trei's own use. Even as Trei's blade swings through the cloud of dust generated by the orb and the earth darts and bites into the skin between shagrath's fourth and fifth ribs ((for you never said anything about dodging that strike)), Trei summons that blood to him, calling it to force its way through the body by whatever means necessary, demanding that it forcefully exit its current host and return to him. As his blade bites in deeper, Trei calls upon his iridescent aura once more, willing it to lend extra strength to his strike. The unfortunate Shagrath is in for a rather unpleasant sensation, as the blade's energy explodes into his ribcage with enough force to blast a six-inch deep crater into solid hardrock. What would that do to Shagrath's dessicated insides? [vit- 4, total vit 12] ((Please PM if you have questions. I'm writing this before work, so it's stream of consciousness; however, everything I have done in this post has precedence from previous posts and from your own actions. Also, please respond to the questions I posted in the quoted section, so I may better deal with your "Decay" thing))

A Katana? How cliche'. The strike would be for Shagrath’s right side since the weapon was going from Trei’s left to right it went from right to left on Shagrath. However, things were not always as they appeared.
Shagrath just watches as Trei falls right into a seventy foot deep hole in the ground. The former artificial magma chamber in the ground had drained away leaving a big hollow pit or sinkhole with a twenty foot diameter, the explosion from Trei’s orb had made the ground very weak where it already wasn’t, removing parts of the ground for darts to cause that explosion hadn’t done the structural integrity a lot of good either, and Trei was the final straw since he was pounding the ground with his feet to rush at Shagrath.
The ground just kind of cracked, rather the molten earth let Trei sink since it still wasn't cooled and hard, right in the middle, ten feet in, as it just kind of swallowed Trei up. Shagrath hadn’t moved for a reason. How could Trei have forgotten about the mini-volcano? The earth was still soft from it. Ten foot rule?
As for the blood. The five drops were swallowed in Shagrath’s digestive juices and broken down into proteins to become five drops of his blood. They had served their purposes. He no longer needed them so they were disposed of accordingly.
Trei had just walked right into a giant pit trap. All his warrior spirit did nothing when he couldn’t think. The bumps on Shagrath’s head receded as did the ones on his back and the unseen one in his pants.
Meanwhile, back on the farm, Shagrath’s vampyric flame returned to him as a steady flow of the planet’s energy was pumped into him from beneath. Unseen. Blood regenerated as did his power. With an entire planet to feed off things could get very interesting.
Of course with Trei having just “fallen into the damned hole” the match might already be over.
If this somehow didn't work though Shagrath would take the hit in his right arm since it was just hanging there. Shagrath's coat would tear as would the tunic under it. Both black dragon hide. Softening the blow rather well as his armor like skin could take the rest of the hit after it just went through two layers of dragon hide. If Trei managed to get a good whack on Shagrath he would recieve the effects as if he had been hit by it.
If was the key word here.

Remember this? Normally there was stone under the sand, but in this match, there was a one-inch metal plating over the stone. Why some one may ask. Well it is all rather simple. Given Shagrath's shell density he would have sank right into the earth and needed such a plating to hold himself up with. The plating of course was reinforced to hold him and provided a good footing for him to stand on so he didn't have to constantly waste a huge amount of mana to hold himself up with. If what Shagrath says is true, and there IS a sinkhole, well, then, Trei would not be the first to fall. With Shagrath's mana being tied up in the maintenance of his "life support," how would the demon hold himself up? His sheer density alone would rip through the softened rock, sending HIM plummeting to the ground for a loss.
Trei, of course, will be more than happy to aid in this. As the ground cracks and crumbles beneath his feet, the aural explosion that would have been channeled into his blade is channeled into his feet instead, aiding him in a massive leap through the air up and over the place where Shagrath had been standing. Just to make certain, though, he unleashes another blast of aural energy as he passes over the falling demon's head, sending the concussive wave down to blast into Shagrath's falling form, which would in turn force the demon down faster than gravity and weight alone. Shagrath's "Damned Hole" would be his own downfall. [Total vit: 10] OR
Of course, if Shagrath's weight doesn't break through the hole, then neither would light ol' Trei's dash. After all, a fleet of foot runner doesn't slam their feet into the ground, they push off the balls of their feet, keeping their weight adusted to lend them speed. However, Trei's originally planned slash would be adjusted now, given the chance thanks to Shagrath's own earth darts. Rather than the original horizontal slash, Trei would draw the blade back for a charging thrust straight into Shagrath's throat, again diverting the aural energy from his blade to his feet so that the attack is given incredible force. If it hit, Shagrath's dessicated neck would be in trouble, and his lack of mobility would make it easy for Trei to force him from his circle of protection. [Total vit: 12]
No matter what, though, let's not forget Trei's remaining drops of blood. At this point, they will have successfully forced themselves through Shagrath's system, like those little leech things in "Slither." Not a pleasant sensation, having your insides dug through...

However Shagrath was a flesh and bone construct in this match and weighed about 280 pounds. That was considerable given the lithe frame that would be guessed around 125ish. In his previous match with Gaara he had actually been in a shell like armor. Weighing a couple tons and able to get struck by about anything with a single dent or scratch not even appearing. If one remembered rightly he had converted to a flesh and bone construct before time had run out so he could use magick. So Trei's facts were not all there.
Shagrath was standing on solid ground a couple feet away from the pit, but due to how earth crumbles in sinkholes he would have to move if the entire thing decided on collapsing, which as all sinkholes do it would.
Trei's control in Shagrath's body wouldn't work. He had already broken his blood down into base proteins and reformed it into his own blood so that was wasted energy and concentration. There were no remaining drops of his blood. Ten drops with one more beat, becoming more soon.
His mana was actually aided by the symbol. What it was doing was keeping him alive allowing his mana to take a huge break and only have to use minute amounts to keep vitals going as blood reformed and regenerated.
Let us not forget how hot lava can be. Trei would be running/darting across an incredibly hot surface with something of a semi-solid state as it cooled. The term hot foot could be applied to a severe degree. The ground began oozing and sinking while crumbling at the same time. Trei's running put all his weight in a very concentrated area, ball of foot, causing it to collapse behind him. So Trei wouldn't fall...yet, but the ground flaking and falling behind him was catching up.
Shagrath's earlier maneuver caused Trei no pain, the fact he had no nerves was recently discovered so pain was not felt, but it still worked since nothing had been done about it. A shame really. Shagrath was a big S&M fan too.
Shagrath was getting some more life-force as his "Decay" was spreading. With no pain being felt Trei wouldn’t' realize what was happening. His arm tissue would rot and decay with a slight grey hue with a mossy green tinge taking place. From the arm the disease would spread to the rest of the bodily tissue in what would normally trigger severe pain. Without feeling pain though Trei might not know the extent of how powerful Shagrath's magicks truly were.
The disease in question was a necromantic reverse transcribing virus using a lysogenic cycle to spread. With knowledge of Trei's blood altering powers and how to use them along with knowledge of his genetic material this was all to easy for infection. An infection designed just for Trei. Of course with so much blood in his system Trei might be a little bloated and it gave the disease so much more to work with.
The disease works by it's cytopathic effects as it did not kill the cell it lives in, but becomes a symbiotic parasite instead. Once absorbed through the membrane the virus becomes ingrained with the DNA of the afflicted tricking the T cells into not attacking it. Then it saps the energy of it's host cell by eating it from the inside out and splitting into two viral cells once completed. Shagrath's "virus" had just accomplished what Trei wanted from putting his blood in Shagrath's body. Attack from within.
By the time Trei's sword got to Shagrath's throat every part of his body would have the virus in it.
As for the sword in the throat? Well we all know what happens when Shagrath gets hit.
The collar around his throat offered some protection as most weapons would crack or break from hitting something that hard, but that all depended on the material it was made of and how the aura was used with the blade. Still only after getting hit did weapons ever break, Shagrath liked it that way.
The tip of the blade went in as Shagrath's regenerative powers did nothing since his blood was the main focus of that right now as the sword as the end came out the back of his neck and would go in hilt deep given how hard Trei had just thrust.
Trei's throat would look as though it had received the same technique. It in fact had. Shagrath was not about to leave his ritual circle though. His neck had been torn and shredded in several places as had Trei's which was probably starting to bleed now.
A Katana was not such a great weapon to thrust with given it's curved backsword design, but a sword is a sword. Lack of mobility though? Shagrath would show Trei "lack of mobility".
With some blood having gotten around his body and begun multiplying with a feed of power coming from below with no intention of stopping Shagrath had some time to go before he had full use back, but it was more than enough.
First though,
GET....SWORD...OUT.......OF.......NECK!

You say that without pain, a blood elemental would not sense a foreign element in his blood? C'mon, man... think rationally.
They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery... well, then, Shagrath must be really kissing Trei's a** right about now, to attempt to attack Trei in the EXACT SAME MANNER that Trei had forced Shagrath to dessicate himself. Only difference; Shagrath, as before, has missed a key piece of the puzzle. True, Shagrath's virus would enter several cells before Trei's body would even notice; and true, Trei's T-virus would be useless against the necromantic virus; but do you honestly think that it would be that simple? The second Trei's cells realize that Shagrath's virus is splitting their brethren apart, white blood cells begin to amass on viral particles, rapidly firing out antibodies to break them down while the rest of Trei's cells temporarily suspend mitotic activity. Especially with the Dark Psyche having been given more power due to the demonic blood; as the two psyches are forced together, the degree to which Trei can control his blood is upped as well.
Speaking of the Dark Psyche... there's about a millisecond stop-gap between the moment Trei's tachi pierces through shagrath's throat and Trei's next motion, but in that moment Shagrath can see clearly the change in Trei's eyes; his grin of battlelust has been stained red, and his eyes are turning almost black with the amount of blood pooling in them. It may seem as if all hangs, still and quiet, for just a moment... then Trei gives the Dark Psyche total control, unleashing his primal fury and allowing THAT to guide his hands. However, as I have previously said, the two Psyches are being forced closer and closer together as time goes on; in the background of his mind, the Light Psyche watches and waits, prepared to re-assert its control over the body should the need arise.
All hell breaks loose as the world seems to explode into motion once more... from all over the Blood Elemental's body, tentacles of blood tipped with super-hardened "arrowheads" explode forth, launching themselves at Shagrath's throat, heart, lungs, stomach, groin, legs, shoulders, wrists... all the critical points, delivering not only potentially fatal slashes, but also delivering Trei's T-virus AND Shaggy's necromantic decay virus directly into Shagrath's tissue structures. Plus, there's still the matter of the sword stuck into Shagrath's throat; Trei twists it to the right and rips it out horizontally, using the more traditional slashing cleave motion to aid in it's severance of Shagrath's head. Trei's shell is indeed damaged by Shagrath's bond... but the blood beneath has been so changed by the addition of Shagrath's blood that it pools and coagulates rapidly, the demon's own regenerative properties now aiding his opponent.

Indeed they do say that about imitations and flattery, but Shagrath's idea was different. He came from a world and a time where using your opponent's techniques against them effectively was one of the worst kinds of insults.
Shagrath's eyes bore into Trei's which was good enough. Although a direct stare from Trei would have been better for his hypnotic eyes to take effect, looking at Trei's eyes could still produce results. Just not the really good ones.
Illusions appealing to Trei's darker side. Not controlled illusions, but just whatever Trei thought was going to happen. A nice run of the imagination.
For his virus, it would be hard on Trei's system. It appeared to be one of his cells to the body, but since it was a foreign body in the very thing Trei was a master of sensing it wouldn't have been so hard. Pain was the alert to many they had been infected and Trei felt none so that signal wouldn't go off.
The immune system would have a hell of a time with the virus. It was a retroactive virus with a lysogenic cycle. HIV/AIDS was exactly the same. The virus was also very small since it absorbed through the cell membrane making it harder to find, it only got big when it ate a cell from the inside out. If biology has taught us anything it is that the immune system eats viruses after shooting them with antibodies. The correct anti-gen had to be found too. Not that it would take Trei to long to do that.
Still, the virus would normally pick up as any other cell in the body. It was now. Cells were being produced already infected. It was a losing battle inside. It had been purposefully designed to ingrain itself and take over instead of directly attacking the body to set the immune system off.
Trei might have forgotten about the ground behind him collapsing as well as how much power was used in the virus. Might he remeber now?
As Trei slashes all he gets out is a hilt. A clang as the other side of the katana falls to the earth with the metal being eaten away by a dark crimson liquid. Not a scratch on Shagrath's neck either. A smirk flashed acorss Shagrath's face showing off his overdevloped canines. Regardless though, his illusion was letting Trei see Shagrath's neck get tore out, feel the resistance, hear the tearing, and cover the clanging sound. It was a very powerful illusion.
Now came the fun part.
Trei's comment sparked a remark from Shagrath which was somewhat unusual now. Once again in his head since it just made conversation faster and his lips were dry.
"You"
Shagrath activated his virus's Necromanic energy as well as the lytic cycle for what was sure to be plenty of fun. Now he had power though, the very planet was fueling him and it was giving back everything that was lost.
The viral cells obeyed Shagrath's command.Trei might look like he was getting the business end of a sandblaster across various parts of his body and weaponry as the ground beneath caught up. Rather than detonate inside Trei, Shagrath felt the far younger fighter deserved to live instead being grinded and cut up from the inside out.
A swish of the cloak and dust getting picked up as a trail of green and black flame led thirty feet back. The flames sank back into the earth as even more power coursed through his veins, that and his blood. The magicks of which were returned as it quickly filled his body. Shagrath had his body back. He was going to use it too.
Unless Trei was a bloodied heap falling down that big hole

As to the N-virus that Shagrath had poured so much power into... In the end, it manages to "sandblast" a good three pints or so of Trei's blood. However, seeing as Trei had vamped a full Eight pints from his opponent earlier on, this is really not such a devastating loss as it could be; luckily enough, he had stopped mitotic activies while the virus was still in its lysogenic phase, and so had managed to quarantine the bulk of the virus. So, true to Shaggy's word, several nasty little sprays burst from Trei's shell, filling the air with a dead, crimson colored mist.
Even as the ruined blade falls behind him, Shaggy gets impacted with a tentacle barrage. As I said previously, each tentacle is tipped with a super-hardened, arrow-head like extension, and all of them are powered using immense pressure to fire them off. So, those tentacles that meet Shagrath's clothing may slow, but they never cease to push, and eventually they worm their way through and burrow into the demon's vital points; the stomach, the throat, both joints where Shagrath's arms meet his shoulders, and both lungs. And, with Shagrath's hypnotic suggestion in effect, the Dark Psyche is driven even deeper into its blood-lust like frenzy, while the Light Psyche watches on from the background, gathering its strength... Thus, even as the first tentacles pierce (and, given their high level of acidity, begin eating away at Shagrath's body,) the Light Psyche exerts its influence once more, Sending an explosive wave of energy through the Throat tentacle, unleashing an explosion capable of blasting a nasty little crater into solid stone...

We all know what happens now.
Trei gets the same effects as Shagrath does while they both stand in the circle.
Shagrath's throat gets pierced as his own rather acidic blood begins eating away at Trei's. His own blood was far more corrosive and since he wasn't going to bother restraining it this time; that arrow tip never got past the initial piercing. For some reason Shagrath's back bent a little backwards like Trei had pushed him a little with that strike to the neck and glued his feet down.
As for the others, well Shagrath wore black dragon hide all over him except for his undergarments for one reason in particular. Black dragons fire out acid making their hides rather immune to the stuff, he was fire resistant and absorbent so it only made sense. It was also rather good armor since dragon's have rather durable hide. That and Shagrath's body was just about indestructible save a few places. He had acidic blood that was highly corrosive yet Trei expected it to start dissolving him from something less "potent"?
Of course the ground sank behind them and began swallowing the earth with Shagrath's symbol on it, Trei would fall first simply because of distance. Not having anything truly solid to hold onto and lost within a berserker rage causes you to forget about things like if you left the stove on or not.
Of course trying to blow his throat off didn't have much effect since the weapon was being dissolved as fast as it could make contact. The rest of his body could take a shot from a tank in the buff without a scratch so the other blood weapons wouldn't do too much in all likelihood.
Of course the ground fell out as the sinkhole effect took Shagrath's voodoo doll symbol away to the fiery chasms beneath. Hell was far worse since there is no fire and brimstone. Far, far worse than fire and brimstone. What exactly happens is a matter of national security, but it's really urm......not nice. Yeah..... what happens is...The F.B.I. The next sixteen paragraphs have been removed for your protection. The perverse violation of this site's TOS in conjunction with certain overly informative details of graphic events and the complete perversion of humanity along with a total lack of decency has caused all who have read this unholy document to suffer unexplained head-explodey while achieving an orgasm thousands of times more pleasurable than ever thought possible.
The sick individual responsible for even thinking of this let alone putting it on the internet is to be considered dangerous and shooting upon sight is encouraged. Only a stake from Jesus's cross shot from a blessed bow by the Pope and tipped with the nails he was crucified by are thought to harm this sadistic psychopath.
The suspect in this case has little information known except that he is a white male with a very large p***s of ludicrous proportions. If you have seen this maniac, kill him. Shagrath felt as the ground was coming out from under him. His flames beneath could hold him up, but it wasn't coming to that. Shagrath's right leg came up and went out in nothing short of a blur. His left leg bent slightly as a front snap kick was performed. It was aimed for Trei's abdomen.
With two feet or less between the two and Shagrath's leg being over three feet in length seeing as how he stood at 6'3". With a slight lean back, his hip would be close allowing a fuller extension of the leg as well.
Leaning back with the impact of Trei's tentacles and pointing the ball of his foot out Shagrath simply intended to knock him over the edge. A simple knock back technique. Of course, if that didn't work there was always Magic Missle.

"Shaggy's blood is more corrosive than Trei's..." I have this sudden urge to impersonate Kevin Spacey in Superman, and just shout WRONG at the top of my voice; Trei's blood gained its acidity through assimilation of Shagrath's. So, how could Shagrath's blood be more acidic than blood that shares its properties? Even if Shagrath had been "holding it back" earlier, Trei would know nothing about that process, so his acid-blood would be at full strength. Also, as to this "black dragon hide" jacket, Trei's tentacles are worming, not bursting or trying to eat their way through. Dragon hide is like armor... scales overlap, meaning that Trei's arrow-head-tipped tentacles can force their way in between overlapping plates, though the process may be slow.
So, what does that leave us? Oh, right... mutual head explosions. Well, kind of mutual... As I said, the Light Psyche has been gathering energy, and now it puts that energy to use. Just as the explosion is triggering, it forms a cone of barrier-type energy around the spot where the tentacle would be in Trei's throat, which in turn forces the explosive energy out keeps the explosive energy cordoned off, rather than allowing it to turn the young man's head into mush.
As for the ground, the primal "Killkill" instinct is finally overrode by the much more primal, much more urgent "survive" instinct. The ground beneath their feet gives way, and the blood elemental leaps, using his tentalces to both force himself higher and Shagrath's more'n likely headless body lower, trying to stay one step ahead of the sinkhole...

Simple. Trei's blood wasn't pure. While it could have all the properties it wanted, a cheap clone was never as powerful as the original. Those powers were to be earned, not simply stolen. It's only properties were to learn such things. To bad, so sad. He had filtered all his power out before Trei had taken it so there was none of his power in it. Nothing to be stolen.
So there jumped Trei as Shagrath's leg went out. No matter. His head was just fine seeing as how those points never reached him. A simple turn on the balls of his feet as a pillar of dark emerald flame with a black center is now Shagrath's footing. His right wrist bent slightly as an index finger points at the ground.
The exact spot Trei would land. He was smart enough with angles to know where the blood elemental would land and the air was not a good place to be since he couldn't fly. Shagrath could.
He moved with demonic speed as if teleporting; the flames fell into the earth to gather more power. He came up with a small pinging sound right infront of Trei in the air with that right arm shooting out at such speed it was nearly impossible to hope a lucky dodge. That right hand with the claw like fingers going straight for the throat. Eyes boring into his, telling him it was over now.
