Enios blinked. It wasn't often that they asked about the Otherside in such a straightforward manner and with such conviction either. Obviously the man knew what he was talking about and things had got a lot more interesting.
"Yes." he replied bluntly. "What about it? It's no place fit for us, and I'm sure you know it." he frowned.
The otherside was barren of magic, full of something they called technology that consumed nature and life and everything changed too rapidly for his tastes. He hoped the man didn't want a holiday trip there.
As he was pondering this he noticed the arrival of a pair of twins that reeked of power and he almost shook his head at their lack of subtlety.

"How could you have lost something there if you can't even cross the planes?" Enios wondered dubiously. He really, really, _really_ didn't like the Otherside, but Canabrial looked like an 'ok' guy and he really hated disappointing 'ok' guys. "It's that urgent to go there? Are you sure you lost it in _that_ place?" he spat with distaste. "It's just... I've been there..." he admitted looking away back to the twins trying to avoid eye contact with Canabrial "and I do not like the place. I suppose I could go back, but I'd prefer not to." he paused taking a big breath and looked back at the miserable looking guy. "Tell me, are you sure? I must know. I have methods of finding things if you feel it may still be here..."

"Mmmmm... sometimes people are much easier to find than things.... if you let me search first here I may even help you traveling to the Otherside if nothing turns up." Enios conceded feeling somewhat sorry for the guy.
He decided that Canabrial was in love in that sappy kind of way that let nothing come between two souls. He could respect that kind of feeling, not that he thought himself capable of it. "Of course, it'll take time to exhaust every possible avenue, but if you've managed until now I think you'll be able to wait a bit more to see him."

Enios giggled at the dancing ale while thinking what to answer.
"Mmm... well, I'm here just to pass a couple of nights while I'm in town searching for a decently paid job, I suppose. Things have been a bit too quiet recently and I'm low on funds." he admitted easily enough. "I don't know about the twins, never seen them before, but they shouldn't display themselves so obviously." he frowned. "It's bad for business and... for other things too." he admitted. "They are going to attract the wrong kind of attention with those outfits, no matter how capable they are. And for what you called 'that creature', well, I'll tell you not to call Babd that. He takes offence easily. The rest you should ask him yourself and see if he wants to tell you."

"Well, as long as it doesn't end involving me I wouldn't mind a little bit of stand-by action, but you're right. Better safe than sorry, and besides, I'd prefer to go and save my money for another time. Wait here a bit, I'm going to pick up Babd and then I'll tell the waitress my sudden change of plans. A pity, what a waist of fresh fish..."
With that Enios stood up and went quickly upstairs to his room only to find a pouting Babd chirping that he still was angry and where was his food.
"Sorry, Babd. Change of plans." the imp squeaked indignantly. "Someone wants to find another someone and he's letting us stay at his home as a sort of payment while we search." Enios said placatingly. "And be nice to him, understood? I don't want another chopped finger... even if you say you don't like him!" he admonished taking the little demon, putting him back to his hood and going downstairs again to check out of his room.
He was surprised (and a bit disappointed) that the twins hadn't accidentally provoked a brawl while he was upstairs. Shrugging at the thought he went directly to the waitress and informed her of his plight, or well, he at least told her a very edited revision that involved a not all that nice relative, being caught running away from home and an old friend that had decided to suddenly help him.

"It's not my fault you are slow..." She sighed softly being hit and then with quick reflexes reached out her hand and steadied the stool underneath her sister before looking back to the one that was serving behind the bar. "Excuse me sir..." Yes her voice raised a little bit and she looked a bit more irate. She hadnt gotten her fruit yet and the people here were already getting to her. "I need some service..."

The tender looked at her with a raised eyebrow before he moved down towards her and her sister. "How may I serve the?" He knew her and wasnt to pleased to see her around it seemed by the way he let his glance trail over her then the men who sat in the back of the room then back to her.

"Gavin, I am so not in here to start trouble today, so stop looking worried." She laughed softly before turning to see where his gaze had traveled to. He always did make her feel better with his steadied belief she was a trouble maker. Of course he was right, most of the time.

Her eyes widen and then came to slits as she looked at her sister's comments before she concealed her expression and looked to Gavin. "Gavin can I get some fruit for my sister here and a water for me?"... The words that rang out from her mind to her sister were blunt but to the point You are so lieing, you know you are gonna start something.She actually smiled at Gavin very sweetly hopeing her expression would get him to move faster.

Of course he knew that he was gonna have some cleaning to do after these two left so he grumbled yet nodded as he turned to go to the back. "Richt back wit your fruit and water."
