I really love okonomiyaki. I'm so surprised it hasn't gotten more popular here (my parents loved it when my friend and I made it for them).
I also like various nabe dishes (like sukiyaki and shabu shabu), takoyaki, udon, Japanese curry, soup curry, and a ton more Japanese dishes. Japanese home-cooking is really delicious.

Slightly off topic, but... the Fortune Cookie did not originate in China! It was invented in the US. Both San Francisco (1909) and Los Angeles (191 cool lay claim to being the city where it was created.
The Wikipedia article on the Fortune Cookie can be found HERE.

I love Japanese curry whee My friend and I made it all here with the rice and all and it was pretty much amazing.
And there used to be this little Japanese resturant in the mall I go to But as soon as I finally decide to buy the place out and eat everything... It closes. I was sad to say the least. :[
I do love Chinese food too... Ive never had anything Korean...Maybe I should look around for somewhere.
...I eat a lot of ramen and white rice... sweatdrop

I've noticed that I've been eating domburi (rice with other food on top of it) and agedashi tofu my entire life. xD I never knew. But I think it's because the Vietnamese culture does that too....I think. Well, in my family, we do that. xD;
I just tried making onigiri earlier. Tastes really good. I've never held rice in my hands before until now.
And I also like veggie sushi, ramen, udon noodles, and miso soup. x3

Ichigo1417 lol I think it was too much soy sauce or somethin. I dont know for some reason some of the california roll were like *gag* Some places just do not make good California rolls. I had a few myself. As for my favorite Japanese food, I like all the food I have eaten so far. A few are miso soup, spicy tuna roll (like california rolls some places have better ones then others), dango with anko paste (sweet re bean paste), I like pancakes with anko paste, teriyaki chicken, teriyaki salmon. There is a cute little book out now called "The Manga Cookbook". Oh, and for the bean paste, an easy way to make it is to buy a can of anko bean already sweeten, a bowl with a lid. Pour the can of an beans in the bowl take a fork smash them and you have sweet bean paste biggrin heart

Miso soup is good. Especially when warm. Chicken Katsu Curry. Ramen, depending. Musubi, kinda Asian, kinda Hawaii local kind of food. Onigiri - sometimes. Mochi is gross. I'd rather not eat it.

My favorite ones : Miso soup Tonkotsu rāmen Onigiri (all) Yakitori (yotsumi, enoki maki, piman, tsukune, tebasaki, asuparabëkon) Yakibuta Zaru Udon Takikomi Gyû Don Niku jaga Kushi Katsu Gyôza
Okay, I admit, I took my cookbook to say most of those names whee I would have been delighted to tell you the ingredients of each but my cookbook is in French and I am afraid of translating badly the names of the ingredients sweatdrop
I've never eaten suchi, I don't know why but this fish doesn't attract me, well... i'll try to eat it, one day... rolleyes And I've not eaten mochi, because I didn't have the opportunity to eat that, but it seems to be good.

I think the only Chinese food I have are the ones that are from buffet optional places. For Japanese food though I would have to go with friends or by myself since my parents don't do sushi. Ah, talking about all this food is really making me hungry. Maybe I should try getting sushi this week. 3nodding
