I'm wondering, the DM does allow classes other than the basic classes be in this campaign right? I mean, he'll allow a player to go in as a hexblade instead of the more traditional paladin or cleric, right?

WHAT IS THE SETTING? What method of ability generation is used? Point buy or rolling dice?
Is the setting Forgotten Realms, Greyhawk, Eberron or what?
