foxyboy_chan Koorime Yukina That's true... but neither do Kurama and Hiei, but there are a ton of those running around. And i do support that couple... but i won't force my likes on someone else who doesn't like it. Yeah.... crying Come on people! Kurama x Hiei? Sure Kurama looks like a girl and he's Hiei's best friend! But come on! gonk they are both too busy for a relationship! crying how come everyone asumes there GAY beacause in not one of the episodes do you see them closer than 1 foot apart unless there fighting something!!!

Yes she is! xd I already knew that the creators of YYH and Sailor Moon where getting married. I just didn't know they where going to have a son. eek ninja That's a bit of news there.... ninja Hehe. I knew it. I used to be an avid H/B fan, even wrote fanfics, but then rping got in the way. >>; And as Ashira said, they were married for quite a long time. o.o; I think their son is in the teens. As for him becomming as art prodigy, who knows. He may become a doctor and find a cure for the common cold. ;3

Well, I suppose this will make some non Yaoi people very happy. Though for me it just kinda makes me sad.
Togashi never intended for Kurama and Hiei to become...yaoi. In a Interveiw I read somewhere, which I wll post when I track it down, He said that that had never crossed his mind and it is a simple fan based thing.
So there. Facts that they were never really made for each other...though it would be cute. ^_^

i know very little random information but for those of you who watch the japanese versions of the series there is one episode where kuwabaka pees his pants but they change it in the english version to like i'm going to be sick or something. i don't know what episode it is in though. i think it is either in the dt or in chapter black saga. sweatdrop
on another note, i support the whole kuramaxhiei thing cause it is cute and i write fanfiction about it but i do try to keep to the characters personalities in the show. i do not support the whole botonxanyone thing. even though in the movie where yami tries to bring the netherworld back the is the whole yusukexboton thing going on while she cheats on koemna cause he drowned..... hehe
i also have a question: what is hiei's true demon form? we see his "true form" in the beginning of the series when he still has the sword he stole and when he kidnapped keiko and we see it in poltergeist report as well when he is taken over. but it doens't show it anywhere else? was that because he was not going to be in the rest of hte series to tagashi-sensei didn't pay much attention to that fact or what?

Koorime Yukina As the title suggests, this thread is for posting up interesting things you may have heard about Yu Yu Hakusho. Preferibly they should be facts. For instance, Hiei has not yet reached the age of one hundred years. Although he is never given a specific age, there are things said that would lead to such a conclusion. In episode 99 Rui is explaining how the koorime reproduce without men. She states that every one hundred years a koorime will give birth through immaculate needs. Therefore since Yukina and Hiei are twins, and Yukina does not have a child it can be concluded that they aren't a hundred years of age. *sighs* I need to get a life... I have a few other facts.... but they aren't important right now... i want to see if I can learn vital YyH info from my other fellow YYH fanatics. At the beginning of the series hiei is 14yrs. old. That is a fact.(Too much yyh for me. sweatdrop )

He is respected and feared, for he chooses who goes to Heaven and Hell. In Chinese mythology, he is called "Yama". Foxes Youko Kurama comes from the foxes of Japanese mythology. The most important fact in regards to Kurama is his age - it is said that when foxes reach 1,000 years old, they grow 9 tails and turn either silver or white. Four Saint Beasts These characters all have names of gods that originally came from Chinese mythology. They each belong to a specific quadrant of the universe. Seiyruu (blue dragon) is the east, Byakko (white tiger) is the west, Genbu (black turtle) is the north, and Suzaku (red sparrow/phoenix) is the south. Kurama & Hiei Kurama & Hiei are not quite from myth, but are names of sacred mountains in Japan, both near Kyoto. The kanji differs from the characters' names, though. Yomi Yomi is the name for the underworld in mythology. It comes from "yomitsukuni", which means "the land of roots". WOW! I only knew a few of those facts. Thanks for filling me in on those.

some of these may have been told already but I shall post them anywho. :3
- Yukina: if you think about it her name is a morph of "Yuki onna" which in Japanese mythology where women that appeared snow storms and would (through one way or another) end up killing lost travelers, even though they were extremely beautiful. (also their portrayed usually in a snowy kimono or nude) there's more info on Wikipedia.
- Gems of Tears: another Japanese mythology, a insignifacent (can't remember which right now though) spirit, if it wrong you, or caused you to go out of your way to help it, would repay you twice the ammount, and in one story it cried tears that turned into gems and gave the gems to the person it owed.
- Yusuke Urameshi: the translation means "ghost friend" X3
- Kurama: means deception, while it's interesting to note that "Yoko" is typically a girls name. ninja (and Kurama is the name of a mountain outside of Kyoto)
- Hiei: can be twisted around everywhich way, "Hi" means fire, "Hiei" can mean "flying shadow", also it's a name of a mountain outside Kyoto, opposite Kurama)
- Sensui: Suisen means daffidil.
- Kuwabara: "Kuwabara" means mull-berry field and "Kuwabara Kuwabara" means "oh my god!" xd (if my translation prooved correct)
(ALOT of the names in yyh are really symbolic, but I'm too lazy to type out all of them. o-o)
- Hiei: at one point Togashi was considering him to be a one-shot villian character. scary thought, ne? o3o
- Rinku: (ok so this ventures outside of yyh, but it's still interesting) Rinku's yo-yo's have the same design on them as Killua's (hxh, another Togashi manga) yo-yo's. :3
- Yomi: "Yomi(masu)" means to read. o3o while another translation says "Yomi" means "underworld"

Yay for the myth of le multi-tailed foxes. :3 oh and speaking of which... - Yoko Kurama: it's interesting to note that Kurama has grey/silver fur/hair, yet he only has 4 tails (meaning he's between 400-500 years old) so in an essance he's got "pre-mature grey-hair!" xd - Botan: can mean "peony" or "button" :3

Even though some people say her name means 'snow flower', that is impossible, seeing 'flower' is translated into 'hana'.
