Alec felt the sensation of biting into flesh though his jagged teeth hadn't gotten far through the dragon's hide. Fortunately, his bite hadn't been full-force either but more of a 'test' of the edibility before he backed off and did nothing as his 'prey' made an escape. Afterall, he still had a hunk of meat laying in a patch of leaves nearby.
Turning himself around in a motion more like a crocodile or beached marine mammal, the shark-boy snatched up the steak in his jaws and quietly slipped into the water, disappearing under the surface.
