I thought the "offical" story on Jango was that he wasn't Mandalorian confused From what I understand, he was meant to have killed the "last" one and robbed them of their armour, thus giving many people the impression that he was, infact, Mandalorian, as well as Boba. Of course, I could be mis-informed. Can someone shed some light on this for me, please? sweatdrop

That was Boba's orginial story form what I understand, but form what i also understand Lucas never recognized it as cannon, mearly a "what if" or a "mabey" Any ways, the Fett line of mandalorians can be draw all the way back the Mandalorian Wars, starting with Casuos Fett. VampDMoon WOW some people have obviously played Knights of the Old Republic. xd My favorite race would have to be the Mandalorians. They are the perfect fighting machine and are impossible to back into a corner. Except Boba Fett was a joke. Proving that clones are just inferior to the real thing. Atleast Jango, Ventros, and Canderous put up a fight. They live longer than humans, they have natural tollerances to pain, their armor is made for any type of enviernment as are their weapons. They have been in every single war except the anchient sith wars. If it wasnt for the Mandalorians species like the Keldor, Zabrak, or Wookie would not have honed their skills and became as bad a** as they are. The SW galaxy should worship the Mandalorians for all they have done. I just wish their story wasn't so marter like as it seemed. Since when was Boba fett a pansy? sure, he got knocked into the pit of karkoon (or however it's spelled.) but if he isnt up against a jedi he's pretty scary. hell, in expanded universe he has minions....MINIONS! he also does quite a bit of damage against the Yuzzhan Vong....and since when didn't Boba put up a fight? you're also completely ignoring the fact that Boba's training was cut short when Jango died, so it's more a matter of lacking training than being a clone. also note that he was an unchanged clone, a perfect copy of Jango. In other words: you put down Boba, your also putting down Jango.

But his death was cause by a blind Han Solo, on accident. They turned a great Mandalorian bounty hunter into a comic relief in 5 seconds. Also I am not ignoring his lack of training, he was a small boy when his father was cut down, that gave him atleast 30 years of training so he has no excuse. If you ever watch any movie that involves clones then you would know that over a period of time the cloning technology can no longer make dupicates of one person. And over that period of time the dupicates become weaker and their cell structure becomes even weaker. After so many clones were made I am surprised that boba wasnt anything but a pile of goo in STOLEN Mandalorian armor. I wouldn't put Jango down in a million years but his death was a little weak. I know Mace Windu is the second greatest jedi in the universe but I would kinda know if my jetpack was sorted out and I wouldn't just jump into an arena with wild aliens, clone troopers, and the trade fed's droids. That was suicide and anyone who jumped into that pit died a horrible death, even the ones that survived died horribly by episode 3. Going back to Boba's training, if you say that he was a perfect copy then he should have all of Jango's experience and shouldn't need training. Hey, I could be wrong but that is usually the case in clone technology.

Boba's armor wasn't stolen. It belonged to his father and so rightfuly belonged ot him when his father died. It is now recognized as cannon that Boba did not die in the pit of karkoon. He survived. Every one makes mistakes, even the best. That one miscalculation was nothign compared to every thing else he's down. You want to know the most foolish thing Boba Fett ever did? Wasn't being knocked off a skiff by a blind man. Nope, it was chalanging Darth Vader in a lightsaber dual.
Jango jumped into the pit when he saw a possible advantage. Mace had dropped his saber, Jango swooped in intending to kill. Mace pulled his saber back through the force. Jango got trampled by the rampanging Reek and his jet back was knocke dout of commition. He didn't realise this untill he tried to use it.
Boba was not a perfect clone. There is no such thing due to clone degeneration (Which Boba is now suffering from) and the clone madness (The komino's worked a way aroudn this though form what i understand). He was an unaltered clone. He did not undergo exelerated growth liek his brothers did, nore exelerated learning. He did not have his fathers memories, but he did have his skill and nack. What ever Jango taught him, Boba took to quickly

I'm no master. I just like reading about Boba and the other Mandalorians. I don't know nearly as much as I'd like to know about Star Wars.

ummmmm.......... the pod race that anakin is in as he has some really cool moves in it and shows that he can take what life throws at him!!! And cos he looks well cute in it biggrin biggrin biggrin

K 19 I'm such a wet blanket-- my favorite race is human. (>_<)
BUT!! A few alien races caught my eye as being distinctly Star Wars, such as the Twi'leks and the Wookiees. AND OH MY GAWSH, THE EWOKS. <33 If I could interact with any species, it'd be the Ewoks. I'd give them toothbrushes. <3
Other races can get pretty weird, and I like mine plain and simple. ^^ Ewoks and Mandelorians! mrgreen You know they are going to kill you sucker! rofl
