... And a tektek of Zane.  Zane: Casey's pre-island boyfriend. He was going to prepose to Casey before she left. Attended the Arts Academy. He's like Jake in the animorph series, parsay. He's the nice big-brother type who ends up the lead figure in their tight-knit social circle. His head is full of good advice... Which he needs to follow. He's clumsy, and a bit of a goofball.

Sammy: Casey and Zane's gay friend from Art academy. He's a theater major with a minor in literature. Sammy graduated a year before Casey left for her buisness trip. Casey named her basset hound after him. He's a fun loving guy. He's a little flamboyant at times. He loves theater and roleplaying (Both online and L.a.r.p.) He's a wired guy, and a optimist. He's a great person to be around.

Thanks for the critique, Maryke! Its really helpful. I guess I wasnt clear on the whole mormon thing. sweatdrop I'm going to go threw my ap. and flesh things out.
To clarify things,
Her family is non-religious and do not support any paticular religion. Casey and her sister joined the mormon church togeather. Her parents and brother do not approve of this.
The family bonds are broken. They basically disowned her and her sister, though they still feed her and provide clothes and shelter. She is otherwise ignored.
I've decided against the belly-piercing. Its irrelivent and unnecisary.
