Are we talking about Devil Kazuya? If where talking about ingame wise, and say if we where to compare TTT Devil Kaz to Devil Jin, I would take TTT Devil Kazuya over Devil Jin.
Instant TwinPistons, 1,1,2 does more damage, insane wavedash mixup's with mid-hitting wgf ftw(This move alone would make me pick TTT DevilKaz over T5 DJ)! But if where just going vanity, I would choose DJ though.

I'd say DJ in either, because DJ is TTT Jin (who was the best character in the game) with MORE options (new 1+2 throw with a free follow-up for sick damage? Yes plz). In the 5 series, definitely DJ. Though safe TP would be busted.

hell either way they have something good going for them.
if we're talking DJ being basically TTT Jin, free WGF/EWGF. craptacular crazy mixups, loads of CD gaming...
Devil is pretty much a very toned down DJ in this case...where he shares some of the same moves as DJ but...is still kaz in his own mind and gameplay.

In my opinion, Jin, because he doesn't use that bullshit Mishima karate style. But when it comes to tiers, Devil Jin all the way.

In my honest opinion, I honestly don't believe Devil Jin was even as good as Tekken Tag Jin. Ws+2 was 10x much more safer in TTT due to pushblock, TTTJin's mid's all together where much more safer, SM Ewgf~5, 1,1,2 does way more damage, infact, everything TTTJin did does more damage then DJ, b+4 hit grounded opponents that made his wavedash mixup's much more deadly then DJ's. Overall, DJ imo is just a watered down TTTJin with new moves, no question, he's a monster in his own right.
I still feel Devil Kazuya would've been better than DJ, if Devil Jin was exactly like TTT Jin from TTT with no changes...then I would be able to point the finger to him easily, but since it's not, I'm still going to go with DK.

Oh Devil Jin, absolutly. Far more intresting to draw than a naked purple Devil xd
Devil Jin actually made Jin pretty cool. When he transforms, his personality transforms as well. Kazuya doesn't need to transform into a devil to be one... sweatdrop
