Poppetta my instant opinion was that it would be annoying, but right now i find i'm looking to see how much i'm getting and it's fascinating! that was my thoughts exactly! I was like, oh how annoying....then....wait a minute, I just got 3 gold! kewl!

Well, if poll-taking gold is supposed to reset every day, they haven't fixed it. I voted in a poll this morning and STILL got 0g. stare

No use for me going to poll guilds now. gonk I'm still consistently getting NOTHING for voting in polls. I get more for browsing the site. stare I'm thinking maybe I'll try to make sure to fish every day, and maybe I can build up gold by selling fish or something. Or word bump. Maybe it still gives 9g between the higher levels. Oi, as if gold-making wasn't HARD ENOUGH BEFORE!!! scream

I have to say, I like the idea of seeing what I'm earning for gold, but I hate the way they have "fixed" the bugs so we're not earning a lot of gold at polling. This happened last year too, I hope they realize that it was silly then, it's silly now.

I got 14 for th poll and now i am checking to see how much for this post.....I hope they fix this....although yesterday i did notice that the towns was giving more gold out of trees and such. question

I've been surfing for the past 10 minutes with no sign of gold anywhere. Not until I was ready to reply to this thread did it pop up with "You got 4 gold for surfing". Interesting.

Purkle You can turn off the notification. There is a link in the announcement that gets you to the options page. There at the very bottom you can select to turn off notification.
It's a little easier to handle if you don't have to actually see what you're not earning. Would have been nice of them to set it so that if you click on it, it goes away for the day. Kind of like the new free items, one click and is gone until tomorrow.

I wonder how they are figuring this... earlier today I was getting between 9 and 14 gold for every poll, and now I'm getting between 1 and 4. Not hardly getting anything for posting though, usually either 1 or 2 gold.

I hate this new system. Before I could earn like 200 gold in no time at all, now it takes like half an hour if not longer because Im getting so little for polling. I feel like Im wasting my time now. I was going to put up some new polls too, but whats the point if we're going to get cheated out of our 10g per poll? scream scream scream scream

i'm really hoping that something is wrong with the system, it does say you'll get MORE for polls in the announcement sweatdrop but i'm finding that by my 3rd or 4th poll i'm down to 1 gold.
but if it's wrong, why has nothing been officially mentioned yet sweatdrop
i'm going to have a look at the moaning forum and see what people are saying there rolleyes

Ok, I took a page of polls, and it seems you don't have to wait any amount of time between polls. After about 10-15 polls it dropped down to 1g, and then I was getting between 1-3g per poll, with an occasional 4g. I wonder how long I can keep going without pause and make 1-3g per, and then when it will reset to higher again?

Ok, I have a low post count. It was 330 or something like that when I started earlier this evening. However, I have been getting 7-14 gold per poll and took about 40 polls!!! Also, I started out getting 6-8 gold per post but that's down to 1-2 gold per post now. I get 3-6 gold for some of the times I either hit the post reply button or going back to the main forum. So I'm not sure if things have changed now for us that have the lower post count. Very strange but I won't complain at the moment. It's getting me closer faster to getting my own lunar cowl and giving this one back to the person who lent it to me.
