Donat nodded slowly, watching the dragon chew on his present, then glanced back at Chath. "He eats meat?" he repeated, frowning a little. Donat thought meat was aboslutely gross, bad or not. "Do all dragons eat meat?" he asked. The goat wondered now if he might have to feed his dragon meat when he got one. As long as it was not him eating the meat, Donat supposed it might not be too bad, but the thought was still kind of creepy.
On second thought, a dragon might eat a lot of whatever he wanted to eat. Keir was pretty big, after all, and it only seemed logical that all dragons were that size. So maybe it would be good if the dragon ate stuff that Donat thought was gross. Less competition for salad and such.
"Is he grown up or a kid like us?" he asked, starting to wonder if Keir could get bigger.

Chath looked to Keir and almost sighed at the question. Keir was barely managable now and he was still a wrymling. "Basically he is just a kid....he is going to get bigger...I am just not sure how much bigger. The dragon specialist i saw said when Keir gets older the skin on his face will sink in more, and he will bascially look more like a zombie. Apparantly it is just the breed of dragon that he is..." he explained not really looking forward to Keir getting older.

Looking back at Kier, Donat tried to imagine the dragon's future appearance. Sounded kind of... weird. Maybe he would not end up with a zombie dragon, though.
"Oh," the goat suddenly exclaimed after a few moments as he abruptly remembered that he was on a time limit. "I think I might need to go back to my dad now. We can hang out again sometime, right? And you can teach me skateboarding?"

Chath nodded his head glad the topic had moved away from his dragon. Now skateboarding he could deal with. "Yah sure, I would like to get together with you some time. Do you have your own board? I could lend you one, you also need to wear a helmet. and knee and elbow pads don't hurt either." he rambeled trying to think of the saftey gear the kid might need.

Donat nodded, ticking the items off on his limited fingers. "Board, helmet, kneepads, elbow pads," he repeated, then grinned. "Maybe I can see if Dad will get me some today."
He took a few steps towards the door, walking backwards so he could keep facing Chath. "I think I need to go now, though, so I won't be late. I hope I can see you again soon!" He waved to the other boy, and glanced once over his shoulder at the sliding glass doors that lead back into the mall.

Chath waved goodbye to the boy and then looked over to Keir who was still munching away on the quarter. As soon as the boy had left he spat the thing out. The coin was barely reconizable for what it once was, all dented and cut. The dragon then stood and picke dup his gold coin and looked to Chath like...well are we going or not? Cause i am.
Chath stared at the coin and waited for Keir to turn around before bending to pick it up. So...his dragon had accepted the gift from Donat to be...nice? He shookhis head. He didn't understand his dragon at all...
Turning the started for home.
