Jade sat at the table and peered out the door, sighing. Ever since the first day, it had been quite boring here. He supposed that was a good thing, but still. Not even a cut or a bruise or a fight? That seemed down right unnatural.

John sighed, walking in to take Jade's place so the other boy could sleep. John gives him a light kiss on the cheek, and takes his post at the desk.

John sighed as he sat about. He took out a sandwich and started to munch on it. Still nothing happened. This was the most boring thing in the world! Would no one even come to keep him company? He supposed not. Everyone else was too busy with their friends, of which he only had Candice, Jade, and Fanciulla...

As John sat in the chair behind the desk munching on the sandwich, he watched people mull by outside. He wished one of them would come in to keep him company. Oh well, he'd have to make due. Fanciulla walked down the hall and into the infirmary. She watched John's eyes light up as she walked over to the desk, and tossed her Dony PSP in front of him. "Here..." She said. "You need this more than I do..." "Can't you stay and keep me company?" John asked, looking a little depressed. "Sorry, I'm too drunk to be here right now..." She replied. "Maybe next time..." That was that, he watched her walk out, and sighed. His own girlfriend didn't have the time or ability to be there with him right now. Oh well, she was drunk... She reeked of sake tonight, which was almost certainly not good. But he couldn't leave the infirmary. Too bad. He picked up the PSP and turned it on to start playing.

John sat and played the video game as everyone passed the Infirmary by, and no one needed his help. He sighed, and looked up once in a while. Nothing.

John woke up, having fallen asleep at the desk. He sighed, and looked around, and shrugged. Still no one. And surely they would have woken him if someone had been there...

Candice sighs and watches as once again, for the hundredth time in a row, no one enters the Infirmary. This was a good thing, but it made her bored out of her mind. She decided to pull out her 'novel' and start to write in it again. It was a large, leather-bound book, with more than half the pages blank. She was writing in it with a pencil, and meant to fill the whole thing and get it properly published.

Mel stood in the Infirmary's doorway and watched the others work, as was her habit, fingers curled around the wood frame. Most of her face was hidden beneath her pale bangs, but her eyes, sharp and bright, focused clearly on each individual, takingin the scene as if calculating a risk. In her mind though, interacting with any of these rivvin was quite the risk.

Candice looked up from her desk and saw Mel. She smiled at her, and blinked. "Can I help you?" She asked.

Her expression remained blank, but her eyes twitched lightly at the sound of her voice. In her mind she was telling herself to just walk away, but her sudden mood swing prevented the reasonable voice from getting through. "Not likely rivvin," she said with a amused laugh.

"Then why are you here?" Candice asked politely. It wasn't likely someone like her would need help anyways.

Mel laughed softly at the remark, lordly even. Of course she had expected the human to question her motives. It was always the same.
"Heh, as if I need to explain myself to you."

"Very well." Candice said, and went back to her writing, expecting the girl to leave. She peaked up, slightly, and saw her still standing there.

She kept watching her, following her movements carefully without saying a word. At least this human did not just into an arguement like a certain other stupid male. Tired of standing, Mel eventually crept into the room, taking a seat against the opposite wall.

"So, who are you, anyways?" Candice decided to ask. "You're a new face to me..." She was still writing, but looked over to her for a moment.
